Shawn tightened his grip on his chopsticks. If he exposed Kyle now, his father would definitely think Anna was involved.
Seeing Shawn's silence, Harry's voice deepened, calm yet intimidating. "Where did you get that thing?"
The tension in the room was suffocating. Harry had never imagined his own son would do something like this.
Tina's eyes flickered as her thoughts raced. She suspected Anna had something to do with it.
After all, Shawn had always been quiet, never close to anyone, except lately, when he'd been spending time at Anna's house.
Putting on a look of gentle concern, Tina stepped closer and said softly, "Shawn, I know you wouldn't do something like this on your own. Someone must've told you to. Tell me, who was so cruel to make you do this?"
Shawn frowned, glaring at her with barely hidden disgust.
He knew if he didn't say something today, his father would dig deeper himself, and that would be even worse.
