Mrs. Luke looked at her son, knowing he was determined to side with Anna. She huffed in frustration but said nothing more.
Just then, the door to the emergency room opened, and out came a weary-looking Dr. Jonathan Wellington, the man who had been assisting Anna.
"Dr. Wellington, how is my grandson?" Mrs. Luke asked hurriedly as Jonathan stepped out.
Jonathan shook his head slightly. "He's out of danger. The toxins have been fully cleared, but he's still a bit weak."
Mrs. Luke finally breathed a sigh of relief and wobbled into the room.
Nearby, Tina overheard that the three little ones were okay. Her hands clenched tightly at her sides, and her eyes flashed with malice.
Those little brats had survived such an ordeal? Unbelievable.
Anna followed Mrs. Luke into the room. Kyle had already woken up, lying on the hospital bed with an unusually pale face.
Beside him, Natalie was still unconscious, her small body curled up slightly.
