Chapter 11 - [LOU] 11: War Criminal?

While Alistair was lost in thought, Persephone, Pandora, and Ker had already begun a heated discussion, their enthusiasm palpable.

The myriad worlds!

This was the true expanse of countless worlds—how could the three goddesses not be thrilled?

In the stagnant waters of Greek mythology, advancing further was nearly impossible for them.

Because of this, the prospect of stepping into the myriad worlds, with access to endless resources and faith, was their ticket to growth and the foundation for their ascension.

"Hmm~~~"

Alistair snapped out of his reverie, watching the three women with a slight smirk. Holding Pandora, his grip tightened playfully.

Pandora's body stiffened slightly, and she said softly, "Your Majesty, if you need, perhaps wait a moment. Right now, the myriad worlds are the priority."

Alistair chuckled, amused. "Pandora, think you can handle it?"

"If Your Majesty desires, I naturally won't refuse."

"Hm."

Alistair nodded, then said, "Persephone, Pandora, Ker—tell me, what are your plans moving forward?"

Alistair knew his strengths and weaknesses. In matters like this, it was best to leave it to the experts.

Clearly, the three goddesses were the experts. When it came to developing any world, they were the most qualified candidates.

"Dust, can you describe the details of each world?" Persephone asked gently.

Alistair nodded. "Of course, no problem."

He then described five worlds to the three goddesses.

"..."

The three fell into deep thought.

After a brief pause, Persephone spoke softly, "The world codenamed Dragon Ball—we should set it aside for now. It's not something we can explore yet."

"Persephone, elaborate," Alistair said, looking at her.

Persephone thought for a moment, organizing her words. "Dust, based on your description, the Dragon Ball world is formidable. Gods of Destruction, Angels, Zeno, parallel universes, time travel..."

"Wait."

"From this perspective, Zeno at the very least possesses power comparable to an absolute god."

"Rushing in recklessly would only put us in danger."

"An absolute god..." Alistair mused, evaluating Zeno's status. Though he seemed like a small figure, initially, the destructive power in the Dragon Ball world, while impressive, was just that—destructive power.

In simple terms, raw destructive force was insignificant against intricate laws unless it reached the point of overwhelming might, breaking all laws with sheer force.

Otherwise, pure destructive power was meaningless.

Alistair knew this well. No matter how strong a Super Saiyan was, if he inflicted a plague upon them, they'd be helpless.

That was the crux.

But once one's status ascended to godhood, everything changed dramatically.

"As for the other four worlds, they're much simpler," Persephone continued. "Those worlds would be easy to conquer."

She remained calm about the other four worlds, as if they weren't worth her concern.

Yet, despite her graceful composure, the excitement in her eyes was nearly impossible to hide.

Persephone knew well that, while these four worlds seemed weaker, the potential rewards were immense.

"Go on," Alistair said, lounging on the sofa with Pandora in his arms, prompting Persephone to continue.

"First, the planning of the worlds themselves," Persephone began. "Dust, do you intend to create your own divine kingdom?"

"A divine kingdom?" Alistair pondered.

To be precise, the Underworld was Hades' divine kingdom, albeit a unique one crafted from a dimensional world.

This was why, even after Hades' death, the Underworld persisted.

"Persephone, what's your take?" Alistair asked, turning the question back to her.

As he'd said before, professional matters should be left to professionals.

That was key.

"In my view, Dust, as the God of Darkness who has ascended to the divine throne, you could use the Underworld as a foundation to incorporate Hell, the Abyss, the Netherworld, the Infernal Realms—all of it," Persephone suggested. "Create a true Hell in the fullest sense. A pantheon, a divine cluster, a grand divine system... built step by step."

Alistair considered her idea thoughtfully, then said, "If that's the case, how should we handle these worlds according to this plan?"

Pandora and Ker listened quietly.

Compared to Persephone, though they had lived long, their experience and insight paled in comparison.

Persephone, daughter of Zeus and Demeter, naturally knew and understood far more.

"Bring these worlds under your control and develop them gradually," Persephone explained. "Nurture each world, steadily harvesting the world's power as it grows. Spread faith in each world, cultivate believers, and reap the power of faith. Create a virtuous cycle."

"Of course, that's the ideal outcome."

"If resistance is too strong, then we'd have no choice but to seize all humans, force them to provide faith, destroy the world, and harvest its world power."

"It's a pity, though. Such a one-and-done deal yields far less than sustained, gradual development."

Persephone spoke with a hint of regret, laying out both scenarios.

"..."

Well, well, well, Persephone—you're a war criminal too, aren't you?
