Like he hadn't just seen Noah's face on that screen next to a graph that looked like the edge of a cliff.

The sound was small and barely noticeable over the conversation continuing around him.

"—I'm just saying, John, if you move the console any more to the left, you're going to block the—"

"The sight lines matter! If I can't see the booth clearly—"

"You're going to have cameras for that—"

He unlocked his phone properly and started searching.
