Just as Nevaeh finished speaking, Cassius suddenly leaned in closer. Before she could even react, his right hand slid to the back of her head, and his lips crashed against hers, cutting off her words completely.
Nevaeh's eyes widened in shock. She tried to push him away, her hands pressing against his chest. "Are you crazy? We're in the car—and Frank is still here!"
Before she could finish, the partition between the front and back seats smoothly descended. Frank's calm voice came through the speaker, "I can't see anything."
He had heard the commotion but decided it was safer to keep quiet. Interrupting his boss right now would be suicide.
