Chapter 33: Detention
The moment I saw my name written in the neat, stern script pinned to the board outside the administration office, I knew trouble had found me. Again. A note below it spelled it out in merciless ink: Detention. Saturday afternoon. Classroom 3C.
And beneath my name was his. Alexander Hawthorne.
Of course.
It was funny how I was t even surprised that we would be in detention together. After chemistry practical, Alexander had succeeded in getting me to play a prank on some of the students who had been gossiping about me.
It was harmless though. We had just out salt in their water at the dining and perhaps written the word gossip on their chairs...it was written with white paint so um...it sticker to their uniform and then one of the girls started shouting about her hair when a bucket of water was thrown on her...that had been a mistake and it wasn't even on par with the other things Alexander had done but headmaster Alistair didn't care.
