Chapter 18 - GYG [18]

Nearby, the others overheard Téa's suggestion.

Nevertheless, Joey, Tristan, and Yugi kept quiet. After all, if those two went to the amusement park, that was called a date. What business did they have tagging along?

Miho, however, thought differently.

"A water park? Sounds so fun! I want to go too!"

"Uh… o-okay?" Téa didn't quite know how to respond.

Suddenly, that was when Tristan's inner lapdog came into play. "Then Miho! Let's go together?"

At this point, Yuto couldn't push for a world of two, so he sighed and said, "Alright, let's all go. This Sunday."

On Sunday, the six gathered outside Domino Amusement Park.

They split into groups—Yuto and Téa naturally paired up, Miho with Tristan, and Joey with Yugi.

"Let's play until lunch. Meet at the restaurant at noon!"

"Got it!"

Yuto held Téa's hand as they walked in. She wore a light-colored dress and matching shoulder bag. Since they came for the water park, they went straight to the slides.

Yuto, without a bag, left his coat and pants in the locker room, revealing his swim trunks. He waited outside for Téa.

Soon, Téa stepped out in a two-piece swimsuit. The vibrant colors made her pale skin glow. Thin straps framed her collarbones and shoulders, the top perfectly accentuating her curves. Her slender waist was flawless, and the bottoms hugged her figure, showing off shapely lines and long, toned legs. Damp strands of hair clung to her cheek, giving her a touch of allure. Sunlight turned her into a gem radiating beauty.

Yuto stared until Téa walked up and tapped him, snapping him back. Blushing, he scratched his head and took her hand toward the slide.

Téa looked even prettier than usual…

They climbed the slide, took a float, and Téa sat in front while Yuto sat behind, practically holding her in his lap. The staff pushed them down.

"Waaah!" Téa shrieked as they plunged, water rushing. Yuto instinctively held her tight, their bodies pressed together, heartbeats pounding. Téa's face flushed red.

Spray drenched them as they sped down, until they splashed into the pool. Yuto steadied himself and helped Téa up. Wet hair clung to her face as she looked up at him. Their eyes met. Yuto brushed a drop from her cheek. Téa laughed suddenly, bright as sunlight, and Yuto laughed too. Their bond deepened.

"That was so fun, Yuto! Let's go again?"

"Sure!"

They tried more water rides, until after ten o'clock they rested on loungers by the restaurant, sunbathing. Téa peeked at Yuto's sun-warmed skin, beads of water on his faint abs. Her heart raced.

Suddenly, a splash hit Yuto. He sat up to see Joey laughing. "Hahaha! Got you!"

Yuto shook his head, ready to retaliate, when another water balloon hit Téa—Miho's doing. Téa grinned and leapt into the pool, throwing water back. Soon, they were in a chaotic water fight, laughter echoing.

Tired, they regrouped, chatting over a hearty lunch.

In the afternoon, Yuto and Téa changed out of swimwear to try other attractions.

"The Ferris wheel?" Téa suggested.

"Sounds good." Yuto smiled.

They boarded a gondola. As it rose, the city spread out below. Téa recalled the confession she had prepared.

But halfway up—boom! Another gondola exploded! The jolt made Téa cry out and cling to Yuto. He held her close. "Don't worry. I'm here."

The Ferris wheel halted mid-air. Smoke rose—the blast came from Car 2 beneath them. Police rushed in, cordoning the area. One officer shouted into a phone. Another came running with balloons. A white balloon floated upward—boom! Car 4 above them blew apart!

Minutes passed. No solution yet.

Was this the end? Téa shook violently, tears welling. "Yuto… I'm so scared."

He rubbed her back gently. "It's okay. We'll find a way. We'll get out." But inside, he panicked too, scanning desperately for escape.

It shouldn't be like this! Téa couldn't die here—she was too important!

While Yuto's thoughts raced, Téa clung to him. "Maybe… maybe we're going to die. Yuto, I like you—I love you! Please go out with me!"

Her words thundered in his ears. Yuto froze.

After a pause, he answered, "Weren't we already dating?"

"Idiot! If no one confesses, it doesn't count!" Téa shouted, her voice ringing.

Exasperated, she kissed him hard. Yuto gave in, kissing her back, eyes closed as they embraced.

TL: Well… didn't expect kisses in my ygo slop.
