Chapter 6 - Another Boost

Time slowly passed amidst Kurama's roars.

When the blue experience orbs around Kurama were only the size of ping pong balls, Naruto stopped gathering experience points. He then waved at Kurama and returned to reality.

Kurama's experience orbs were actually a size smaller than Hinata's, and they also contained slightly less experience. But…

But Kurama's experience value was always +3, which meant that Naruto finished gathering experience points very quickly.

This made Naruto very puzzled; he didn't know why Kurama's was +3 while Hinata's was +1.

Suddenly, Naruto's eyes narrowed slightly as he seemed to realize something, vaguely guessing the answer.

The answer was the issue of combat power. Kurama's combat power was many times higher than Hinata's; they weren't even comparable. This was very likely related to the experience point bonus.

However, this couldn't be confirmed for the moment. He needed to obtain more information to be sure.

Pulling his thoughts back, Naruto once again began to examine the Saiyan Shop, considering exchanging for Saiyan blood. However, the issue of his hair gave him pause.

Because this Saiyan blood seemed a bit overbearing. Normally, Saiyans' hair was black, but in the original story, some Saiyan descendants didn't have black hair.

Yet, after Naruto obtained a drop of Saiyan blood, a section of his hair instantly turned black. Such a domineering nature seemed to prove that this Saiyan blood was stronger.

But the combat power increase from one drop of blood was still too little; he needed to secretly continue improving.

After pondering for a moment, Naruto got up and went to the storage room, starting to rummage through it. He remembered there should still be a bottle of hair dye at home, and he intended to find it.

But after searching for a while, he didn't find it. "Gone? Looks like I need to go out. The time is still early, anyway."

Naruto quickly got up and tidied himself, preparing to go out to buy a bottle of hair dye. After all, after exchanging for the Saiyan blood, his hair would definitely change again, and the goggles certainly wouldn't be able to cover it then.

So, hair dye was a very good thing.

With the little money he had, Naruto stepped out of his home and confidently headed towards the other side of Konohagakure.

The residents around him knew him well, and many were unwilling to sell him anything. He didn't want to be met with cold shoulders, but there were still people on the other side of Konohagakure who were willing to sell to him.

He used to buy milk on that side of the village, it was just a little further away, and only some people would sell him things.

With anticipation, Naruto walked quickly, moving forward step by step under the strange gazes of those around him.

A few minutes later.

Having successfully bought hair dye, Naruto hurried back home, only to meet three people at his doorstep.

The leader of the three was a Fatso, accompanied by two skinny guys. They were the same three guys who used to bully Hinata.

Because he had focused on training from a young age, Naruto had given them a good beating when he encountered them, completely solidifying their hatred.

Moreover, they were influenced by their parents and discriminated against Naruto. The two sides had several conflicts later, and hatred had long been established.

Now that the other party was loitering at his doorstep, they must have ulterior motives. Therefore, Naruto wouldn't give them a good look and spoke coldly.

"Fatso, what are you doing at my door?"

"Nothing much, just wanted to ask if you want a Ninja Dog. If you do, you can go get it from me," Fatso said with a smile.

"Ninja Dog? You'd be so kind?" Naruto sneered, his azure eyes staring coldly at the other person.

"Hehe, actually, that Ninja Dog is too fierce, and ordinary people can't tame it. I think you can definitely tame it," Fatso provoked.

"Idiot!"

Naruto cursed at the other person, directly pushing Fatso away with force, and walked home with a cold face, even slamming the door shut.

That scene made Fatso's face turn green with anger. He huffed and said, "Damn it, this brat is getting harder and harder to deal with."

"What should we do then? We can't just let this go," one of the lackeys said.

"How about this? We could get that Ninja Dog and scare Naruto," another lackey suggested.

"That's a good idea, but that Ninja Dog is too fierce. I don't dare get close," Fatso hesitated, not really wanting to do it.

"So what do we do?"

"I don't know."

The three punks mumbled to each other, failing to find a solution. They finally walked away in frustration, but clearly hadn't given up.

Inside the house.

Naruto fiddled with the hair dye, watching the three kids walk away from the window. A flicker of coldness flashed in his eyes before he closed the curtains, blocking his view.

He silently sat back down in his chair, putting down the dye. He placed a small mirror in front of him and then let his consciousness sink into the system shop, beginning to exchange for more Saiyan blood.

He currently had 45 experience points, enough to exchange for another 4 drops of Saiyan blood. Adding that to the previous 1 drop, he'd have 5, which was enough to elevate his physique once more.

[Ding! 40 experience points consumed, successfully exchanged for 4 drops of Saiyan blood.]

As the mechanical voice faded, Naruto's body began to boil again. The blood, as if reanimated, was rejoicing, welcoming its new life.

At the same time.

Naruto's hair changed again. The small patch of black hair from before expanded slightly, still located on his forehead.

Naruto looked at himself in the mirror, not intending to dye his hair. He only needed to buy a bottle of dye; others wouldn't know whether he'd actually dyed it. He just needed a reason.

"Hmm?"

Naruto narrowed his eyes, sensing four figures watching him from behind. It was as if Naruto could "see" them, even without turning around. This kind of perception surprised him.

He remembered that while the Saiyan bloodline was freakishly good at sensing, it was more adept at sensing ki, and easily overlooked ordinary units without ki.

For example, in the original story, even after Son Goku could sense the universe, he still spent a lot of time searching for some enemies, and was even ambushed and seriously injured. If his perception could "see" everything, that would be amazing. However, Naruto, having only received five drops of Saiyan blood, already possessed such outstanding perceptual abilities, which was truly puzzling.

Could it be that the Saiyan blood I obtained is stronger? More overbearing? Or has it produced some kind of amplification mutation with my Uzumaki Clan bloodline? If that's the case, then I've really hit the jackpot.

Taking a deep breath, Naruto clenched his fists tightly, feeling his strength had clearly increased. Moreover, the effects of the Saiyan blood in his body had only just begun to manifest.

In the future, his physique would become stronger and stronger, and if he focused on training, he would become even stronger.

"It seems I need to devise a set of training methods. Right, and also, weighted training."

Naruto pondered, setting his future training goals. At the same time, he sat cross-legged and began refining his qi once more.
