Raina screamed bloody murder.Casper jumped into the lake.Seeing what the stranger did,Raina immediately sought to rush out of the water but he quickly caught up to her and clamped his hand tightly over her mouth to stop her from screaming more.
Raina squirmed uncontrollably.A part of her calming down a bit as she realized it was Casper,he wouldn't try anything.The guy cherished his career image and would surely not do something as scandalous as forcing himself on her or on anyone for that matter.
His breath tickled her ear as he whispered,
"I am going to remove my hand now but you must not scream.I am certainly not a pervert or a rapist." He said cautiously and she quickly nodded so vigorously that her head spinned.He pressed her tightly to his body.Dressed sparely in a small bikini design swimsuit that was totally soaked through, might as well not have anything on.She totally could feel his firm, somewhat hot muscles against her back and something long and flaccid against her lower back.
She knew exactly what it was and felt very uncomfortable by the feel.
Casper removed his palm from her mouth and slowly loosened his tight hold on her.She immediately backed away putting distance between them.Casper's cheeks flushed with embarrassment at the situation.Was this like an off-screen intimate scene now?
"I-I am very sorry,I know you would-sorry! didn't know you would be here- or that anyone would be here,i-just wanted you to-" oh dear lord, what was he saying! He was heaping more stacks of embarrassment on the one he already had.Stammering? He had never done that until now.God! If he did not feel like burying himself before,he certainly does now.
Raina swam forward and held out Casper's hand and shoved something in it.Casper looked and saw that it was his earbuds.She had them all along? His eyes shifted to her as she was almost swimming to the sand.Suddenly she turned to look at him, "Framing?" She scoffed. "That's really low of you Casper Lu."
"Wait!" He called out before he could stop himself.Raina halted but did not turn to look at him again.He swam towards her and pressed back the cased earbuds into her palm the same way she had done to him.
"Have it.Its yours." He said sighing. "Yes,I did try to frame you.But the fact that it did not end up the way I intended could be fated.So take it."
Raina was surprised.She had expected him to deny,not straightly admit and also forfeit the earbuds.
She had kept it safe and secure in her swimsuit waterproof pocket. The glittery silver case was so appealing and beautiful.Casper's initials were somehow carved or written on it.CL.and it weighed on her palm like a brick stone. "I cannot have it.I want an apology Mr Lu not this!" Raina tossed it back to Casper who did not catch it before it fell in the water.
Raina who wanted to get out of the lake and go straight to sleep when she had reached the set village found herself stuck in the water as several flashlights from the forests were casted on her and she instinctively shut her eyes.Casper sank into the water until only his chest was seen.He did not want to give the crew members that he was completely nude.
"Raina,what are you doing out here,is everything okay?" Came Liam Robertson's worried voice.They were drawn by a loud scream and were scared when they discovered both Casper and Raina were the only ones not in the set village.
Before Raina could reply Liam.Casper was noticed and all the attention shifted to him. "Casper! You are....here too!" A female crew member said sounding very surprised.
"What were you both doing out here?"
Embarrassment started to engulf Raina at that question.Two people of the opposite sex, unrelated by blood whatsoever, caught swimming late at night was almost similar to catching a married woman in bed with another man.As at now,no one would bother to think of their previous enmity and how he subtly bully her on set.
"Swimming.What else would anyone do out here other than that?" Casper casually said.Raina could not argue,as it would still be seen by them in whatever way they want regardless.
"Learning how to warm up to each other before the scenes are we?" Marco spoke teasingly.He was starting to buy what Honey said about the two of them falling in love and all that thing about sparks.As a director,he had seen many on-set romance bloom into real ones.Some of them going public to the media.While a fewer some of those are fake couples put together by movie makers as a strategy to attract more viewers.
And speaking of which,it would not be bad if they were to apply that strategy after the filming ended.Their movie "Tyrant's love" needed all of the possible advantage over rival movies scheduled to release nearly at the same time.
Casper,the charming A- list actor and Raina the rising actress! What a combo it would be.The others would surely agree.
