I still have a hard time wrapping my head around what the dowager said. She wanted to unseat her son? Her response, when I asked why, although it made sense, somehow it didn't answer my question. Because Lycan kings being ruthless wasn't anything new.
Her husband was worse than the kings before him. Naturally it would be expected for her son to emulate the same traits and pattern so her response didn't seem reasonable to me. It just didn't make that much sense even though it made sense on paper. And when I had asked what was supposed to happen after her son was unseated, who would the throne go to? She had been vague about her response, saying the parliament could decide that but I didn't believe her one bit.
