KAEDYR
"What do you have for me?" I'd picked up on Issah's footsteps before he pushed the door to my main office open.
He was out of the kingdom for the past two days on an errand I'd sent him because he was the only one I could trust with it. There were several things happening and all at once that I wasn't sure which to prioritize. It was my duty as king to see through everything though, so, I guess I had no reason to complain.
"Your Majesty." Issah greeted, bowing as he stopped before my desk.
"Do I have to go the extreme route again?" I asked because I wasn't really in the mood to be that person.
"I… I fear that might be the case, Your Majesty," Issah replied as he straightened up.
"Go on…" I motioned for him to sit while he caught me up to speed on the events of his errand.
"When I got to Ulvarhe, it was almost impossible to meet with The High Magistra. They had almost refused me entry into her court. My meeting with her was nothing like we expected."
