Nara had been surprised when I told her about my request with the king and his mother. To be honest, I hadn't considered the idea of her being shocked by my request. Or perhaps she was more concerned than shocked because her surprise had only lasted a few minutes before she began voicing her concerns.
She was more or less concerned that my request could ruin everything and hopeful at the thought of seeing her parents but said the king hated being controlled or manipulated and he would see right through me and what I'd intended with the request. Not that I expected him not to, if he were as wise as everyone claimed he was, so surely he knew already that I was doing this for a different reason.
