When I had agreed to go out for dinner with Rhiner, I had foreseen a lot of problems I could run into.
However, the problem of having an alpha taller and heavier than me clinging to me and giving me puppy eyes, begging me not to go, was not one of them.
"Kyle, you can't go and leave me alone. If you're going, then I am going as well."
Theo complained as he tightened his grip around my middle. He had to kneel to be able to hold me properly and his face looked up from near my stomach.
I would likely have found this situation extremely funny, had it not been happening to me specifically.
Also, Ben's barely concealed laughter did not help my mood at all.
"It's just a small dinner, Theo. I will be back before you even know it. I promise you this. Can you let me go now?"
I asked with as much patience as I could show at the moment. And Theo did seem to consider what I had asked of him.
