'Goldie.' Killian called and bumped forward, catching Goldie in his arms before she could fall on the floor. Mrs. Ashbluff sneered, she turn back and walk away. She had more important things to tend to.
'Mom.' Amethyst called and weakly stumble to the front weakly, her steps heavy and unsteady. As soon as her body move swiftly, she felt a sharp headache, as if something has exploded in her head. She paused automatically and down she went, collapsing on the floor.
'doctor! Nurse!' old Killian screamed. Who should he attend to first? Mother or daughter? The one who fainted from shock or the one that just finish three different surgeries.

'Nathan.' Amethyst's eyes fluttered open as she called, gearing back to life.
'Nathan.' She called again as soon as she notice the person that was standing next to her. She blinked her teary eyes but then, the Nathan she had just seen disappeared, replace by the face of an old doctor.
'How are you feeling miss?' the doctor asked.
'Where's Nathan?' she asked instead, her eyes full of hope. She had sacrifice one of her kidney, half of her liver and one of her eyes. She should be able to see her Nathan now, right?'
'Miss…. i.... you need to relax… I don't think I am in the position to tell you anything about him.'
'Mrs. Ashbluff, you know the first lady, where is she?'
'something urgent came up at the white house so she flew to the capital. I'm afraid you won't be able to see her for months.' The doctor declared while Amethyst's head bowed disappointingly, tears looming in her eyes. She had knew that the sacrifice is not for Nathan, but she choose to go along with her plan just because she promise her that she would see Nathan.
'Do… do you know where I can see Nathan? Please tell me, just please.' She pleaded, raising her red eyes to look at him.
'Mrs. Ashbluff took him away from this hospital that same day when you brought him. I have no clue on where he is and how he does. His conditions were too critical that I bet he wouldn't have been able to survive without proper treatment but despite that fact, she took him away, denying him of the right of seeing the doctors. I can't say, but I think he is getting more than worse currently…. If he is still alive.' He said while it dawned on Amethyst, every single word he utter piercing deeply into her chest, to tear her heart, into thousand piece. So she can't see Nathan again.
The only brick of hope she had of living fall down crumbling. She stood up sharply without saying another word and aim out of the ward. Instead of living when Nathan is either dead or currently in pain, she would rather die.
'Uh miss, I just mentioned that you should rest.' The doctor said as he escort Amethyst with his gaze.

'Goldie.' Killian called as he walk…. Practically ran after Goldie who is walking at the fore front but she didn't reply nor act like she heard him, her steps rapid as she approach the ward where amethyst is supposed to be. She pushed open the door and stepped in but paused when she saw the doctor heading toward the door, mumbling at cursing under his breath while Amethyst is nowhere to be found.
'Ammy.' Goldie called, looking around to confirm if she really is not in the room.
'Are you her guardian? She went out jut now, up to the roof top of the hospital. I understand that she needs fresh air, she needs some lone time.' The doctor said, his voice natural but before he could add any other word, Goldie has already bump out of the room while Killian followed suit.
'Uh! weird family.' He cursed. Amethyst walked out on him just like that.
Goldie heart thud as she ran to the elevator. She clicked on the button to open it but it didn't, still busy. She turn toward the stairs impatiently and quickly scurried over.
Why? … why does it look like things from the past is re-occurring? Why is everything that happen to her happening to her daughter too? She had clearly warn her from university boys, why did she have to fall into the same trap as her.
After giving out her kidney but was not allowed to be with the man she loves, what… what happen next? … she commit suicide of course.

Staring down at the world below her feet, tears roll down her cheek, her face dull and strength gone. She heaved heavily, this is just once and for all. Just take a step forward and all your pains and worries would be gone, then you would meet your Nathan and continue to live in the afterlife.
'Ammy!' Someone's voice suddenly came from behind which make her turn to the back sharply but her leg slipped and down she went, falling down from the tall building!
