Asterion opened his eyes to see a flat white plain that went on forever. The edge where land met sky never got any closer no matter how long he stared. A long, winding line of dark shapes moved slowly ahead of him—some looked like people, but others had extra arms or legs, or heads that weren't quite right. They all shuffled toward huge gates that stuck up from the ground like giant fingers against the pale sky. The gates had strange markings carved into them that seemed to change whenever Asterion tried to get a good look. The massive hinges were rusty bronze, creaking loudly as if they'd been not closed for a thousands of years. Each step Asterion took felt like his feet were sinking into mud. His memories began to fade away, it was like he was trying to hold water in his hand that keeps leaking between his fingers. Even the fear, hate and anguish he felt at first grew quieter and quieter until it was just a whisper in the back of his min
Soon his memories of her and his family started to fade like photographs left too long in sunlight, but he clutched at them desperately, trying to preserve every detail. He dug in his heels against the slow march toward the ornate iron gates, but when he finally stopped, a pair of eyes fell upon him. It was just a passing glance, but in that fleeting moment, his entire life flashed before him—twenty two years compressed into a single, searing instant. White-hot anger scorched through him, followed by waves of anguish that threatened to drown him, then paralyzing fear that froze his blood. He collapsed, his cheek pressed against the cold, damp earth, his limbs heavy as stone. Rising again required every ounce of strength in his trembling body.
As soon as he stood up, he was plucked from where he was standing and placed in front of a being whose image he could not comprehend. The being spoke in an intrigued voice, asking, "Why are you trying to reject the end of your suffering?"
Asterion replied, "I don't want to forget about them my family , my wife and my unborn child I just don't want to forget them like they never existed like they never meant anything to me like they didn't matter."
The being merely looked at him with pity but it looked like it's emotions had dryed up long ago. While looking at him it said it would bless me and make sure I will never forget them but small price will have to paid and i agreed instantly not realizing what i had agreed to after that the being touched my forehead , it was just the lightest touch but it felt as if his entire body, mind and soul was being violated while i was engulfed in flames. I tried to scream, but no sound escaped his lips, I tried to claw around so the pain would stop but it did not stop. I tried to tell the being to stop the but the just looked on with a slightly interested look ,after I clawed out my eyes, throat, hair, skin, ears and any other thing that would let him look human. I suffered just waiting for it to stop and let me feel the sweet embrace of death but the being seemed to smile when I thought this.
It finally stopped after which what was left of me, was a crying bloody mess on the ground. The being just watched on letting me get used to it and then healed me in an instant, but I was still on the ground crying it had only healed my body.
After what felt like an eternity, the being finally spoke again, informing him that it had granted me perfect memory so i will never forget about my family. The being then continued to converse with me for a while before offering another gift: a partial path to divinity.
In return for all i have given you, it declared,
"I curse you with never being able die, when you die you will restart or repalce another being ." With that said , Asterion was flung out, suddenly entering the gates, and from that moment on, i felt only emptiness.
I never could really understand how i had controlled my emotions after the agony i was put through.
After some time, I was passed through a thin layer of some kind into a white ever going space . But soon I felt a jolt through my entire being.
Then i awoke, i found myself as a newborn baby about 4 months old, my eyesight blurry at best. Figures moved around me, talking in an unknown language, and i quickly fell asleep.
When i woke up i continued to cry for my family, questioning why such tragedy had to happen to them. After a full day of this happening and me not eating anything.I was taken to the hospital, where i remained hooked up to medical devices. After another day of tears, i found out that no more tears would come out . It took me a lot to get myself together.
While the sorrow and pain lingered, they became much more bearable. I realized that all i could do was eat, sleep, and try to learn the language they spoke and gather information about this new world and family.
I reflected on my life, recognizing that i had never been the best child for his parents ,i never really took care of them while there bodies were failing them,I focused only on my career and the only thing regretted was my inability to protect Gloria and my parents. A resolve formed within me; as I vowed never to let anything like that happen again. I would become strong enough to protect my family—or die trying.
My now new father was named , Adrian. He had black hair and blue eyes, a handsome figure who was a little plump but still remarkably striking appearance.
The women who has been feeding me was my mother. My mother was beautiful, to say the least. Her name was Aqua, and she had long, flowing hair that shimmered like water. Her eyes were a vibrant shade of blue, reflecting kindness , warmth and motherly love.
They treated me as if i was a glass vase which would break even after a single touch . They took his temperature fed me at regular time an made sure I was safe in crib tucked

If I really had to say something it would be that the world gave me a blessing but I didn't fully understand it yet from what he understood , it gave him better physique, a sharper mind and some kind of energy but it was very small in quantity. I had also been given a task: I needed to help someone survive when he turned 15, and I would instinctively know who i would have to protect.
So my journey as toddler in another began.
