Adam kept moving through the forest nearing the location where the C ranked boss was currently stationed
His gaze flickered towards his watch to get a display of his new ranking

Description: Person a single slash able to cut through space, this attack bypasses defense to a certain degree depending on the users strength
Looking at his new skill and after allocating his stat points Adam felt a small rush if energy envelope his body
"Looks like I also leveled up after defeating the small rank monsters here, the boss might give me a good chunk"
Adam then arrived at the location where the C ranked boss was and what he saw was a Wolf with silver and purple fur, it's size was that of a big suv
It's eyes were dark red and saliva dripped from it's mouth showing that it was really hungry
The wolf growled after seeing Adam then it started moving towards him slowly, Adam unsheathed his sword and was locked in on the wolf
The wolf moved first it lunged towards Adam racing it's razor sharp claws aiming to slash Adam on his face
* CLANG! *
Adam paired the strike with his sword as sparks flew with each strike and parry this continued for a while with Adam parrying the attacks and dodging
His speed and strength was now that of an early C rank awakener even though he himself was at the peak of E rank
"I must breakthrough soon" Adam thought to himself
"I should end this soon and hunt the other C ranked bosses"
Adam still knowing he was being watched had to hold back some of his power and pretended to struggle against the wolf
He let some of the wolf's strikes to graze his body but those cuts quickly healed from the damage in an instant
"This will be enough"
Adam said so while he positioned himself as the wolf backed away for a final strike
Wind flowed around it's body as a violent gust of wind blew around the forest and razor sharp winds circled around the wolf
The wolf moved way too fast and it lunged towards Adam as it opened it's mouth wide aiming to bite his head to kill him on go
"Space Slash"
The night air shimmered as he tightened his grip on the sword, the blade humming with a faint cosmic resonance. The wolf lunged, fangs flashing but before it could reach Adam, space itself bent to his will.
Stars seemed to flicker briefly around the edges of his strike, warping reality as his sword carved through the air, the weapons did not simply cut flesh it severed the very distance between him and the wold.
The wolf howled, it's body frozen mid-leap, as cracks of shimmering void split across it's form like broken glass. With one decisive swing, he folded the space around the the beast pulling it inward before collapsing it with a burst of celestial force.
In a blinding flash, the wolf's body was torn apart not by steel alone, but by the crushing weight of distorted space.
As silence fell, he lowered his sword,.the faint glimmer of galaxies retreating from the edge of the blade. The battlefield smelled not of blood, but of ozone and emptiness as if the stars themselves had judged and executed the creature.
"Phew onto the next 2, I shouldn't have let it scratch me now my clothes are torn"

"With this much the other two monsters should be easy to defeat"
Adam then left the arriving leaving the corpse of the wolf there as the scent of blood filled the air
( Observation Room)
Silence filled the whole after the display of the battle, when they saw Adam a peak E+ rank fight a C- ranked wolf they thought he was crazy
But after the battle went on for a few moments they saw the impossible, not only was Adam keeping up with the attacks of the wolf but he kept connecting his attacks
Each dodge,parry,block and strikes were calculated it seems he was parely hanging on when the attack seemed to bypass his defenses and get a few grazes here and there
But what happened next shocked them to the core, that single slash that seemed to cut space itself they felt that slight ripple in mana as the wolf's body collapsed on itself
"That was-"
"Space affinity, it seems Duke Dragonis was mistaken"
The vice-headmaster cut through as her eyes then looked at the duke with an evilish grin
"It seems the Dragonis Duchy can't properly evaluate potential anymore, either that or-"
"He's a late bloomer"
The headmaster finally spoke and all people looked at his direction including the duke
"It seems an unpolished gem has come to my academy"
