The mystery deepens.
• While Rex may know who killed, he does not wish to reveal it yet until he understands the motive slowly but surely lowering guards around him. Once he finally has his information together.
He'll make sure the killer is brought to justice. But for now he needs to play the long game. He once again wakes up earlier than Evelyn, who is still in bed.
Naked once more Rex gently covers her with more of the blanket they share as he leaves the bed.
So far every night, since that first time together on the bank of the pond closer and closer all week today is the day in. You have to send a message to the mayor of his Old Town Red Horse Rock considering he has been out longer than he promised He would every morning He would sent letters after letters in the postal, this town had yet he never received anything back. He's been here almost a week and hasn't heard anything he finally decides to go check things out at his old town as he prepares to take the train back home with the intent of coming to this town soon after he checks If everything's all right.
He promises Evelyn he'll return but before you could say anything else, she already packed alongside of him ready to travel by his side right when he was about to tell her it's too dangerous. She picked something out of her bedroom Closet a double barrel shotgun She leans it over her shoulders, giving Rex a Stern look,
And that looks says it all no words needed she's coming with me whether I like it or not besides, she's often been talking about wanting to visit my Old Town, who am I to deny this fierce woman of her own adventure, besides after spending. So much time with her, I fear of growing too attached to her. So, having her by my side may not be as bad as I initially thought.
After we packed up everything, we both board the train which has finally been fixed after the accident. It takes us nearly 33 hours to get close enough to Red Horse Rock in that time, Evelyn has not left my side constantly. Looking outside at the wide open desert with amazement in her eyes. She's never seen such sights before. You just now realizes she's pretty much in the position.
He was when he first arrived at Railroad Springs. So he begins pointing things out to her, especially the stars. She was so curious about he begins telling her tales of the west through the entire trip.
Until they finally arrived close enough for them to walk. After a long time of walking, and I've had a very familiar sight to Rex. Rusty ridge the town where he first started hunting, Raymond black as he gets there. He hears a lot of noise rustling from the nearby barn once he finds out what it is, a wide grin Covers his face as he rushes forward, the barn bursts open as is trusty horse David kicks it open with it's hoofs, reuniting alongside rex.
He takes this time to check Davis very well, make sure he's not hurt he seems pretty well fed and nourished this town. After hearing, they were harboring the black hats before decided to take care of him. Well just to get on my good side, typical of any slime ball at this town. But I'm not complaining after a long minute of the reunion, he finally introduces David to Evelyn who was surprisingly very gentle with horses? After too long apart I was finally able to settle up onto David along with Evelyn now with a quicker speed we begin to ride towards red horse rock.
Rex began to ride quicker once. He noticed something off. There's no bugs, no noises in the desert. As there usually was, and it can smell the faint smell of smoke in the air.
Upon the horizon, the town of red horse rock burns. Everybody He once new were piled up and buried because he wasn't there to protect them.
This revelation drops into his knees. He notices long, many savage weapons. It was a raid on the town from the savages he has to the town searching for any sign of survivors, but
He knows the savages that killed him. All never take any prisoners alive, infuriating him even more.
Still it was still strange though of them straying, too far out from their territory almost as if they were led by someone or something either way. Rex wasn't about to let them get away with it. That night as he settles Evelyn and David down back at rusty ridge, he heads out by himself heading into the savage lands full of savages territory Killing intent in his eyes.
