"Do you need help?"
The warm voice made Cecilia pause. She looked up through the layers of white mist, and Adrian's smiling, handsome face came into view.
"Thank you… what are you doing here?"
Cecilia grabbed his hand and used his support to climb out of the hot spring pool, but her legs had little strength and she stumbled backward.
Adrian's heart skipped a beat, and he immediately pulled her into his arms. "Careful!"
Some things in life just never go right—but tonight, everything seemed to go wrong at once.
Blaze and Joey arrived late. As soon as they stepped into the venue, they saw the scene, and Blaze's gaze darkened slightly.
" Here, let me help you sit down."
"Th-thank you!" Cecilia was startled. Except for Blaze, she had never been this close to another man. Her body stiffened like wood, almost rendering her speechless.
