Chapter 121 - Chapter 121 Titan Portal

"Attack!"

At Turok's command, the Drogbar immediately drove the underground worms into the base.

Like trains, the underground worms instantly plowed dozens of trenches through the base.

Each trench was filled with either spider corpses or crushed spider eggs.

The spiders shrieked in panic, but it was useless.

Ulgineis roared in fury, "You dare to appear before the Dark Lord? You are simply seeking your own demise."

He raised his pincers, and a barrage of Shadow energy enveloped the underground worms.

After taking a hit, the underground worms sped up even more, escaping from the base.

Just as Ulgineis was about to give chase, a cold wind swept into the base.

Wherever the cold wind passed, everything froze solid.

All the spider eggs were frozen, and the spiders, in their struggles, turned into ice sculptures.

The Faceless Ones gathered, raising Shadow shields to resist the cold wind's invasion, preventing the complete annihilation of the spiders.

Just then, battle cries erupted, and countless Tauren and Drogbar charged in, assaulting the Faceless Ones.

The cold wind dissipated, and Cenarius appeared, waving his hand to melt the ice on the ground, clearing a path for their charge.

The Faceless Ones were about to launch a counter-charge to meet the Tauren and Drogbar.

Countless roots emerged, coiling around their legs and throwing them to the ground.

Seeing this, the Tauren and Drogbar immediately let out excited shouts.

They rushed to the Faceless Ones, raising their weapons to strike down the 'dogs in the water'.

Ulgineis, sensing Cenarius's formidable strength, immediately attacked him.

Barrages of Shadow energy were fired continuously as if free, but they were all blocked by the shield Cenarius raised.

Just then, the Kaldorei appeared at various base entrances, shooting arrows at the Faceless Ones.

During the attack, two Kaldorei flashed onto a large rock.

Metri drew energy from the eternal holy grail and continuously swung Nash's Fang.

Countless ice spears condensed in the air, instantly impaling Ulgineis like a hedgehog.

The Tauren and Drogbar had never seen such powerful magic and were all stunned.

Moraine had heard of the powerful Kaldorei mages, but he was still shocked by Metri's spell.

Such a powerful Dark Lord was severely wounded in an instant.

If Gale had allowed this mage to act earlier, perhaps the spider army would not have been a threat at all.

Turok stood frozen on the spot, fortunately, the Drogbar had not considered the Kaldorei as enemies, otherwise, it would have been the Drogbar who were impaled like hedgehogs.

Ulgineis did not fall; he waved his pincers in front of him, and all the ice spears shattered.

"mortals, you dare to harm the Dark Lord."

Metri showed disdain; Dark Lord, my foot.

This guy's strength was basically equivalent to a more powerful loa.

Ulgineis was enraged and immediately fired a large Shadow projectile at Metri.

"mortals, die!"

Metri did not move, continuing to cast his attack.

The Shadow projectile quickly reached him, but Gale, standing nearby, stepped sideways, blocking it.

The Shadow projectile struck Aggramar's Shield and quickly dissipated.

Gale mockingly raised the devourer of gods, gathered Sun Power, and charged at Ulgineis.

Ulgineis immediately used Shadow energy to meet him, and the two energies collided, with the Shadow energy rapidly dissolving.

Shim-Eba's Sun Power was extremely overbearing, a bane to Shadow energy and evil magic.

He endured the Shadow energy bombardment and struck the Shadow shield, which could not withstand the powerful Sun Power.

Ulgineis was greatly alarmed and quickly dodged to the side.

The Sun Power shot into the spider's nest deep within the base, incinerating all the spider eggs inside.

The evil aura was evaporated and then purified in the raging fire.

"Tsk, tsk, Dark Lord? Where is your darkness?"

Hearing Gale's taunt, Ulgineis was both shocked and furious.

He had initially thought that only Cenarius was a true opponent, but he never expected this tiny, worm-like fellow who suddenly appeared to be so powerful.

Considering that Cenarius was still watching from the side, he knew he could not be a match for the two of them combined.

Understanding the stakes, Ulgineis no longer cared about his dignity and turned to flee.

Cenarius was momentarily stunned and immediately summoned roots to entangle Ulgineis's legs.

However, Ulgineis was prepared; his Shadow energy burst forth, blocking the roots, and he quickly rushed into a passage.

"Don't let him escape!"

Gale shouted angrily, giving Cenarius a displeased look, then pursued him.

Cenarius gave an apologetic smile; he had only wanted to observe Gale's strength, which was why he hadn't acted immediately, allowing Ulgineis to escape.

He quickly followed, and wherever he passed, natural energy filled the area, soon spreading throughout the entire base.

The Kaldorei, Tauren, and Drogbar received the protection of natural energy, and all their injuries were healed.

Meanwhile, the Faceless Ones and spiders were rejected by the natural energy, with roots growing from beneath their feet, binding them.

With the massive area-of-effect buff left by Cenarius, the battle quickly ended.

As the last Faceless One fell, Turok looked with complex emotions in the direction Ulgineis had fled, "So, Sir Gale also possesses such formidable power."

Moraine nodded, "Indeed, I also thought his strength wouldn't be too great before.

Now it seems he might not be weaker than Sir Cenarius."

The two exchanged glances, feeling a strange sense of mutual appreciation.

Metri flashed over, "Gentlemen, we must set off to pursue Ulgineis."

Turok waved his hand and said, "Let's ride the underground worms!

They can remember the scent of Sir Cenarius and Sir Gale, and they can find their way there themselves."

Everyone nodded and mounted the underground worms together.

Gale continuously used Flash to pursue Ulgineis; this big fellow was truly fast, and combined with his familiarity with the underground environment, Gale almost lost him.

Soon, Gale pursued Ulgineis into a cave, where a huge Titan Portal appeared ahead.

Ulgineis reached the Titan Portal, manipulated it a few times, and was then teleported away by the Titan Portal.

Gale tried to follow but failed.

He looked up at the titan runes on the Titan Portal; they were actually titan runes.

Some he recognized, but many he saw for the first time.

He quickly copied these runes down for future study.

Cenarius caught up, "Where is Ulgineis?"

"He entered the Titan Portal," Gale said, "This is a Titan Portal, and there are many runes on it that I've never seen before.

It will likely take a long time to open the Titan Portal."

Cenarius walked over, condensed natural energy, and input it into the Titan Portal.

Soon, the titan runes on the Titan Portal lit up, enveloping both of them.

When they reappeared, they were already in another cave.

Gale looked at him in surprise, "You understand titan runes?"

"Just a little! Just a little!"
