Chapter 215 - Chapter 215 Storm Dragon

"Magic Shield!"

The leading Mage shouted loudly, and the ten Mages being escorted were the first to react, jointly releasing a massive Magic Shield that protected the escort team.

"Shoot its eyes!"

The other three adventure teams all had their Rangers use arrows to drive away the Storm Dragon.

However, as soon as the Rangers' arrows left the range of the Magic Shield, the Storm Dragon spat a bolt of lightning, knocking the arrows down.

Venas's eyes darted around; an adult Storm Dragon was no weaker than Smaug.

If the escort team tried to resist the Storm Dragon's attack head-on, they would only be throwing their lives away.

He quickly said to the Lich, "Nate, freeze its head."

The other three adventure teams all looked over, curious about how powerful this Mage, who had always hidden his face, truly was.

Lich Nate raised his head, lifted the staff in his hand that resembled the tidal scepter, and a surge of cold air broke through the Magic Shield, striking the Storm Dragon's head.

The Storm Dragon glared at Nate in annoyance, but the next second, a look of terror appeared in his eyes.

A block of solid ice appeared out of nowhere, completely freezing his head.

Everyone was terrified of this mysterious Mage, not expecting him to actually possess the strength to freeze a Storm Dragon.

At this moment, Venas quickly shouted, "What are you still standing around for? Run!"

With that, he was the first to run forward.

The others were confused; the Storm Dragon had already been frozen, so why run?

The next second, they saw Nate flash, directly appearing in front of Venas.

The sound of ice cracking reached their ears, scaring them out of their wits.

Clearly, that spell couldn't hold the Storm Dragon.

The Mages all flashed, catching up to the two fleeing individuals.

The others also ran forward quickly, wanting to get as far away from the Storm Dragon as possible.

A bolt of lightning broke through the solid ice, and the Storm Dragon took a deep, fierce breath, glaring menacingly at the fleeing crowd.

He leaped up, diving to pursue the Kaldorei, opening his large mouth, wanting to swallow these crawling insects one by one.

Only now did the Kaldorei realize the power of the Storm Dragon, each wishing they had two more legs.

They all overtook Venas, who was also terrified and tried to grab the last warrior who passed him.

The warrior instinctively dodged; at this moment, whoever fell behind first would die.

Venas looked back, and his soul nearly left his body.

The Storm Dragon sensed Venas's fear, and his heart grew even more delighted.

He pushed off the ground with his feet, his forward speed increasing again, and he was immediately behind Venas, just a little further and he could swallow him.

At this moment, Venas suddenly lunged forward.

He twisted his body in mid-air and threw a bag into the Storm Dragon's mouth.

The Storm Dragon lunged at nothing, somewhat annoyed.

Fortunately, Venas was right in front of him, he just needed to open his mouth again and bite...

He raised his leg, but his head didn't lift, nor did his mouth open.

Venas was nudged a good distance by him, and he breathed a sigh of relief; it seemed the paralyzing poison had worked.

The Storm Dragon didn't know what was wrong with him; he struggled to stand up, but couldn't even move his legs.

When the others saw that the Storm Dragon couldn't move, they immediately cautiously turned back.

"What's going on?"

"I fed him something!"

Venas said proudly, but the next second he became troubled, "This guy is too big, should we just let him go?"

Lich Nate floated over, "That's simple!"

He gathered magic power and summoned a portal.

Soon, a huge Lich walked out of the portal.

"Oh? A Storm Dragon?" Mejia looked at Nate in surprise, "Did you catch this?"

"Venas caught him." Nate didn't take credit.

Not to mention that Venas was Gale's relative, Nate himself was currently only thinking about how to accept his identity as a Lich, and had no mood to claim credit.

Mejia looked at Venas, "No wonder you brought Nate over, you were aiming for the Storm Drake."

Venas scratched his head, "I just happened to find a way to deal with the Storm Dragon."

"Luck is also part of strength."

Mejia asked, "How do you plan to deal with this Storm Dragon?"

"Turn him in!" Venas said straightforwardly, "Anyway, I can't keep him."

Mejia nodded, closed Nate's portal, and then opened a larger one.

He waved the tidal scepter, creating a huge block of solid ice beneath the Storm Dragon.

The solid ice carried the Storm Dragon into mid-air and floated into the portal.

"I will hand him over to His Majesty for you.

The reward can only be claimed by yourselves from His Majesty after you return to Nordrassil."

Everyone watched Mejia enter the portal, then breathed a sigh of relief.

They looked at Nate, "Are you also a Lich, sir?"

Nate nodded.

Although his hood obscured his face, it didn't hide his mood.

Everyone felt a bit awkward and didn't dwell on that, instead looking at Venas, "How did you do that just now?"

"A little alchemy knowledge!"

Venas wasn't stupid; before he himself caught a Storm Drake, how could he reveal the matter of the paralyzing poison?

Moreover, these adventure teams were all competitors, and they would certainly want to capture Storm Drakes.

Venas's eyes darted around, "If you can help me catch four Storm Drakes, I can give you some potions."

"Four?" Everyone was surprised.

Venas pointed to his other three teammates, "Our team has four people, so of course, one for each of us."

Everyone was speechless; his words made it impossible for them to refute.

The leading Mage then said, "We can also help.

Can you give us some potions too?"

Venas was overjoyed, "As long as it doesn't delay your mission."

"We can guarantee freedom of action before we reach our destination."

"That's great!"

Venas said, "In that case, let's discuss the plan thoroughly."

In Nordrassil, Mejia emerged from the portal with the Storm Dragon, immediately causing exclamations from all the Kaldorei in the city.

Although they knew dragons could be captured, this was the first time they had seen it with their own eyes.

Gale walked out of the palace, and Mejia immediately bowed, "This is the Storm Dragon captured by Venas."

"That kid!" Gale was a bit speechless; strictly speaking, Venas's actions were cheating.

Mejia smiled, "When His Majesty issued the decree, he didn't stipulate that one couldn't ask for help."

Gale also laughed, "But a Storm Dragon is not a Storm Drake, so his reward will be discounted."

Mejia tilted his head, "As His Majesty wishes, he is His Majesty's nephew after all."

Gale glared at him, "Hurry back to work."

He had just said that casually; among the Morning Light Family, only their four brothers had made something of themselves.

Now that Venas had finally achieved something, if he didn't help, it would be inexcusable to hold him back instead.
