Chapter 155 - 155: A Tense Moment

When it comes to the most expensive and top-tier hypercars in the world,

the Lykan HyperSport absolutely ranks among them.

Its reputation isn't exaggerated—almost the entire vehicle is hand-built.

The designers treat it not as a car, but as a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

The buyers are mostly Middle Eastern oil tycoons or Dubai royalty.

Only seven exist in the world, and one of them belongs to the Prince of Jordan.

Leon looked at the bright red hypercar in front of him and had to admit—it was gorgeous.

The Lykan's design was wild and aggressive.

The body was built from titanium alloys and massive amounts of carbon fiber.

Its sides were carved with sharp, beast-like lines.

The front resembled a shark opening its jaws—murderous and imposing.

Its silhouette was so perfect and angular that it radiated danger.

Even a Lamborghini parked next to it would look lower-class by comparison.

The rear design was equally dramatic: large mesh vents cooled the rear engine,

and the V-shaped dual exhaust matched the car's violent personality.

But the reason the Lykan was so outrageously expensive…

was its headlights.

Each LED headlamp contained 430 diamonds, totaling 15 carats.

Buyers could also choose rubies, sapphires, or yellow diamonds.

The price was so high that many insurance companies refused to insure it at all.

That alone showed how insane this car was.

"Over there—that's the Prince of Jordan," Ramsey pointed toward a man in a white suit.

Short beard, sharp haircut, confident aura.

He was standing behind the Lykan, laughing proudly with a group of wealthy guests.

Clearly enjoying the praise and attention.

Action.

Leon gave the order, and the team split into positions around the area,

keeping watch and ready to relay alerts through their earpieces.

Leon and Tobey casually walked up to the Lykan, pretending to examine it.

After circling once, Leon frowned—looking dissatisfied.

This successfully drew the Prince's attention.

He excused himself from his conversation and approached Leon.

"You look unfamiliar, sir," he greeted warmly.

"I am the Prince of Jordan, owner of the Lykan HyperSport."

His chin lifted slightly, waiting for compliments.

After all, spending a fortune on this car and hosting a party for it…

it was all for prestige and admiration.

But Leon just scoffed.

"The brakes on this thing are faulty."

What??

Everyone nearby froze.

A car worth nearly a hundred million…

And this stranger was claiming the brakes were broken?

Even the other guests began glancing at the Prince for an explanation.

The Prince's smile stiffened.

"Sir, if you don't understand cars, please don't speak nonsense.

This vehicle was purchased brand-new. How could anything be broken?"

"The brake rotor is loose," Leon said casually.

"If you don't believe me, I can check."

"You'd better be right," the Prince said, eyes narrowing.

"If you're wrong, you'll answer for it."

Leon simply extended his hand.

"Keys."

Of course, the entire point was the key—once he had that, everything else became easy.

Even with faulty brakes, Leon had the skill to handle it.

The Prince hesitated, but eventually handed over the key.

This was the 74th floor—no one could drive a car out of here.

Even if Leon tried to steal it, he'd have nowhere to run.

Leon and Tobey exchanged a look as he opened the door and slid into the driver's seat.

The interior was actually several levels below Leon's Diomas.

Mostly black-and-white lines, and a lightning-shaped shifter—stylish, but simpler.

And on the center console—

a USB drive.

"Ramsey, there's a USB stick in the car. Can I pull it?" Leon whispered through the mic.

"That's the God's Eye," Ramsey confirmed.

"The data is encrypted. They didn't notice it—it's safe. Pull it out."

After all the chaos, fighting, and infiltration—

everything came down to this little USB.

Leon yanked it free.

Ding!

"Mission complete. God's Eye data successfully copied.

Compatibility with Diomas system established.

Rewards: Level +1. New abilities unlocked: Super Scan, Super Precision."

The mission was done.

Now all that remained was stealing the car.

Leon stared out through the massive floor-to-ceiling glass.

A wild thrill flickered in his eyes.

Tobey felt his stomach drop.

"…Bro, you're not thinking of driving through the glass, are you?"

Outside was a 200–300 meter drop.

The building opposite was more than twenty meters away.

Driving from one skyscraper to another?

That was insane.

Just imagining the stunt made Tobey turn pale.

Ding—

The elevator chimed open.

The team turned—and froze.

"…Oh, f**k." Benny cursed loudly.

Guo Da stormed out of the elevator, carrying a Gatling gun, murderous and roaring.

The worst part—

he looked almost exactly like Deckard Shaw.

Same receding hairline.

Same hardened military beard.

If you didn't look closely, they were practically twins.

"Honey… does my brother have another brother?" Hattie muttered, stunned.

Even Deckard stared, dumbfounded.

It was like looking into a mirror.

Guo Da didn't waste time. He opened fire.

Tatatatatata—!

Bullets ripped through glass, through bodies.

Wealthy guests screamed, diving under tables or sprinting toward the fire exits.

Guo Da was ferocious—he killed anyone in sight.

He came for two things: Toretto's crew… and the God's Eye.

He'd received intel that the device was inside the Lykan.

Seeing Leon and Tobey in the car, he panicked.

"GOD'S EYE IS MINE!!"

He pulled out a grenade, yanked the pin, and hurled it.

Tobey's face went white.

If that grenade exploded here, the entire floor could collapse.

"RUN! The grenade's gonna blow!" Tobey screamed.

"Sit tight!" Leon roared.

No time to think.

Ignition—gear—clutch—throttle—

all in one lightning motion.

The Lykan erupted forward like a beast unleashed,

blasting toward the glass wall—

and straight toward the open sky.

"SHIT—F**K!!" Tobey shrieked, face completely green.
