Victor just silent for a moment, and suddenly he appeared behind Damian. They look shocked when they suddenly saw Victor appear behind Damian.
"Hey." Victor grinning. He still held his phone close with his ear.
Marcus sighs and ended the call, he put his phone back into his pocket. Victor doing the same, he put his phone back into his pocket, but he still grins.
"Wow, you came so quickly." Riley said.
"Yes, i could tell from Marcus's tone of voice when he called me that it seemed very important, so i came quickly." Victor said, crossing his arms and he looked at the man who's still fainted.
The man woke up. But his eyes were still black. He was no longer rebelling, just silent. Marcus and Damian held his arm, just in case he rebelled and wanted to go to the portal again.
Victor stared at the man, who just remained silent and then touched the man's head. She sighed softly and walked closer to the man. He was hit by very powerful magic. Black magic that was often used by the Zacrathis in the past.
"How could he be affected by that magic?" Asked Victor.
"From this book." Eva, pointing to the book that had fallen on the ground. None of them dared to pick up the book.
"How could that book be here." Victor muttered. Victor walked toward the book and picked it up. He flipped through the pages. "This was a very dangerous book, a book about Zacratis, but they had enchanted it to look like a book about Loreineta. However, this only worked on those who were already under the spell." Victor said.
"We also don't know how he could have that book." Marcus said.
Victor looked at Marcus. "It's possible this book existed before the barrier was built, or perhaps they truly own the book through this portal, but they still won't be able to last long because of the magical barrier. But they could destroy one of the barriers, we don't know, they are very powerful monsters, they even defeated the mortals and Immortals who united to fight against them." Marcus said.
Victor nodded. "That's possible."
"Do you know about the book, The Veiled Grimoire By Solgathis Genevara" Ask Selena.
Victor looked at Selena. "The Veiled Grimoire? Yes, of course. Genevara is also one of the victims of Zacrathis. She met the same fate as the Loreineta. For hundreds of years, she searched for many magic spells that could potentially be useful in fighting the Zacrathis and some of the spell actually worked, and Zacrathis, they were furious, so they controlled a wizard to kill Genevara. The wizard is her own brother." Victor said. "The wizard is still alive today, living with regret."
"How do you know? Do you know the wizard?" Ask Marcus.
"Yes, i know the wizard. We weren't very close, but we knew each other. I've lived in Orthelis for hundreds of years. I've seen and experienced a lot." Victor said.
"Does the wizard live around us, does he live close to us?" Ask Damian.
"No, he lives on a remote island. I don't know what island it is, it's an uninhabited island, far from Vienstorian." Victor said. "And What should we do with that man?"
"I would like to ask for your help in teleporting us to Stragivane, to the house of a witch named Nephada. The first time i saw the book The Veiled Grimoire is was at the witch's house, but the book seemed to follow me. So i wanted to return this book and ask her if we could make this man normal again." Selena said.
Victor nodded his head, and Victor walked toward the man and embraced him. You hold my hand. They all nodded and held Victor's hand. Suddenly, they felt like they were lifted, everything turned white, and a second later they were in a different place. They were near the witch's house named Nephada. Selena recognize this place.
"We're here." Victor said.
Nephada suddenly appeared because she felt the dark energy of Zacrathis, which suddenly felt close to her home. She was shocked to find them suddenly appearing.
"What are you doing here?" Ask Nephada, recognizing Selena's face.
"We need help. There's a man who seems to have been affected by Zacrathis's magic thru a book that most likely belonged to Zacrathis." Selena said.
Nephada nodded, understanding. "Got to my house, now." Nephada said.
They nodded and entered Nephada's house. Nephada swung her magic wand and created a barrier so that people couldn't sense the dark energy and come to her house.
Selena explained to Nephada again about what happened. Nephada nodded, understanding.
"I can't do it on my own, it's quite strong and the portal is difficult to destroy. Only people with very strong power can destroy it, and even then they have to work together to do so. It took the tourists several years to destroy the entire Zacrathis portal. It's possible the portal was forgotten about or they didn't find it because it was deep inside the tunnel." Nephada said, "But how could the portal not be destroyed? It's impossible for them not to find the portal." I'm sure there's something, maybe magic, covering that portal so it's not visible to mortals and immortals. That's impossible. I'm sure something's wrong."
"It's possible there are other creatures helping them." Victor said. "Because I didn't feel the aura of darkness from the portal. I only felt it when I was near the portal, as if there was magic making the portal invisible and its aura undetectable."
"That's possible, considering there used to be a lot of creatures they brainwashed to join them." Nephada said.
Selena spoke up. "Honestly, there's something I want to tell you too. The book, The Veiled Grimoire, it keeps following me. I didn't steal it; it just suddenly appeared in my bag." Selena said.
Nephada looked at Selena. "The book only follows people who have radiant energy within them, and it's possible you have energy too, which is why the book is following you. I can't do anything if the book has already chosen its master. The hill will continue to follow you; nothing can stop it unless the book wants to stop on its own. You can take it; it might help you with the problems that might happen in the future." Nephada said. Because the book had also followed her suddenly in the past.
Selena shook her head. "Yeah, some people said that. But I come from an ordinary family. As far as I know, my family has never dealt with magic." Selena said.
"Maybe your family doesn't deal with magic, now. But not with your family who lived in the past." Nephada said.
