Chapter 19: In the Name of God â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸ Let's begin! đđđ
[In the narrow palace corridors, flickering candlelight casts savage shadows upon the stone walls. Sajjad advances with steady steps, his weapon still dripping black blood, while shadows shift behind the columns as if they were living creatures.]
- Sajjad lunges like lightning, tearing through one shadow after another with precise strikes:Â
 - Black entrails splatter across the walls.Â
 - Muffled screams fill the corridors.
- Suddenly, he stopsâhis yellow eyes glowing in the darkness:Â
"It seems someone was waiting for us here... far too many."
- Sajjad (turning to the trembling head servant behind him):Â
"Hurry... finish them off. I'm exhausted today." (His voice is dripping with boredom, as if he's talking about cleaning a room.)
- Head Servant (his yellow teeth gleaming):Â
"Very well, my lord... I'll alert the guards about the shadows at the gate."
Sajjad (feeling bored):Â
"My neck's going to snap... I'm tired."Â
"I still have to finish this interrogation and then sleep."
He walks toward...Â
[A room resembling an underground prison, reeking of blood and decay. Sajjad stands before the last prisoner, while Drid grips him by the hairâhis body broken and disfigured.]
- Drid (dragging the prisoner to the center of the room and throwing him at Sajjad's feet):Â
"This is all that's left of them... alive."
- Sajjad (staring at him with an expression full of boredom):Â
 "Is this it?"Â
"We won't even do anything to you..."
- Drid (shaking his head with fake regret and winking):Â
"Unfortunately... the restâthe place exploded before we could reach them."
He mutters under his breath, "You're a bad person... this is what they call the private sector," (with comical tears welling between his eyes).
Sajjad (thinking):Â
"Of course they wouldn't leave any evidence..."
- Sajjad (places his foot on the prisoner's neck, pressing slowly until the sound of cracking bones is heard):Â
"Talk... and let's be done with it. I want to knowâare you connected to the ground explosion?"
- The prisoner (vomiting blood, his voice broken):Â
"We have no connection... It's Malay Island!"
- Sajjad (increasing the pressure, his eyes blazing with anger):Â
"And the people executed without reasonâwas Malay Island behind that too?"
- The prisoner (screaming):Â
"Please spare my life! I'll tell you everything! They're fromâ"
- Suddenly... the prisoner's body swells like a balloon!Â
- Sajjad steps back slightlyâbut then...
**BOOM!**
- The prisoner's entrails scatter everywhere; blood and flesh coat the walls.Â
- Sajjad (looking at his blood-splattered body, speaking coldly):Â
 "Disgusting... his body exploded."Â
(To himself:) "Just as I expected. Anyone connected to the state is always monitored with devicesâunlike other organizations or gangs..."
"It seems the explosion that caused the earthquake was staged by a state... and these were merely prisoners used as suicide pawns... meaning this gang is small and has nothing to do with these matters."
- Drid (examining the remains of the corpse, his voice filled with disgust):Â
"Looks like they planted a bomb inside him... they didn't want him talking any further."
Sajjad (speaking seriously):Â
"That seems to be the case. But our mission now is limited to investigating a certain gangâthe state capable of smuggling military weapons from the research field to Malay Island..."
Drid (alarmed):Â
"But what do we have to do with this? We're not involved, right?"
Sajjad:Â
"You fool... If they find out Nizar can be turned into a weapon, they'll become a burden to us. Besides, I can't even imagine weapons like Al-Hashim being deployed on cities. We already have enough trouble fighting the Black Tumorâwe don't need more problems from them... We're not helping any state, not even an organization like Carlos."
Drid stands bewildered, thinking foolishly, while Sajjad thinks to himself:Â
"The only place where smuggled goods could be exchanged is..."
(He walks toward the door.)Â
"Bidaswa Island." (His voice like ironâhe slams the door open forcefully.)
[The palace garden blooms under the evening breeze; cypress trees sway gently. Riman sits on an ebony-wood chair, while Nizar plays nearbyâhis innocent face hiding unseen storms.]
- Beneath the wisteria tree, three maids huddle together, their whispers rustling like battling leaves:Â
 - First Maid (winking):Â
"That girl... why is she always with young Master Nizar?"Â
 - Second Maid (covering her mouth with her hand):Â
"Maybe she's his governess... or something else!"Â
 - Third Maid (giving Riman a sharp look):Â
"I heard she's a spy... sent to tear this family apart!"
- Suddenly, a fourth maid appears (her clothes more elegantâperhaps the head maid):Â
"Hurry up! Work awaits you... or would you prefer Old Master to punish you?"Â
 - They scurry away in fear, casting one last glance at Riman.
- Riman (sipping tea, her fingers trembling slightly):Â
"Why do they avoid looking at me... as if I have smallpox!" (to herself)Â
Fox: running after himâ"You're gonna fall, dummy!"
- Nizar (running toward her, suddenly grabbing her hand):Â
"Riman! There's a blue butterfly... come!"
 - But his eyes gleam with a strange light... as if he knows more than he lets on.
Riman: "Alright."
- Head Servant (suddenly appearing behind them, his voice dry as cardboard):Â
"Come along... it's time for you both to enter the palace, my lord."
[The room is flooded with daylight. Sajjad dozes restlessly on the leather couch, his breathing heavy as if he carries the weight of the world on his chest. Suddenly...]
- He finds himself standing on ocean waters as blue as sapphire, under a clear sky where stars reflect upon the waves.Â
Sajjad, calm within: "Where am I...?"
He looks ahead and sees a woman with long white hair sitting before him, her white gown flowing in the wind like angel wings.
- She smiles at him; her crimson eyes glow like embers in the darkâbut in this scene, the light emanating from them appears strangely beautiful.Â
Sajjad's body freezes as she speaks:Â
"Sajjad... Sajjad... don't you remember me...?" (gently)
- Suddenly, the wind howlsâher hair begins stretching like octopus tentacles, coiling around Sajjad's wrists.Â
She says: "Sajjad... why are you so cruel...?" (tears welling in her eyes)
Sajjad feels as if screaming: "Idiris... has she returned? I can't speak... I can't breathe..."
- The sky turns deep red, as if bleeding; the waves transform into thick red liquid, from which decomposing human hands emerge, struggling to escape.Â
"...We are like one body..." (her hands on his neck)
- Iron chains surge from the sea, wrapping tightly around Sajjad and holding him firmly, while the woman slowly approachesâher teeth morphing into long needles.Â
- Her voice echoes like a reverberation inside his head, choking him, whispering into his ear:Â
"Sajjad... Sajjad... your name is so beautiful, isn't it? ...But it will be the last name you ever speak in your life."Â
- Her laugh, once beautiful, suddenly cracksâher mouth stretches to her ears, her eyes weeping black blood.
- Sajjad tries to resist, but the chains tighten further; blood begins seeping from beneath his fingernails.Â
- The woman whispers into his ear as if her voice comes from within his own body:Â
"Don't even try to run... You and I are one... since the day you were born... until the day you die."Â
- Her cold hand touches his face; her fingers melt into his flesh as if merging with his blood.
- Sajjad jolts awakeâ the couch blanket wrapped around his neck like chains, his cold sweat mixing with stifled tears.Â
- He looks into the mirror... and sees the reflection of the red-eyed woman behind him, her arms wrapped around his chest:Â
"I'm here... with you, even in reality. In dreams, you're mine... I'll never let you go."
Sajjad screams, shattering the woman's image: "Damn you... Idiris, damn you..."Â
Then collapses to the floor, exhausted.
Sajjad (staring at his blood-stained fingers, then at the shattered mirror where deep scratches mark his neck):Â
"What...? Did she try to strangle me?"Â
"I've killed her so many timesâyet she always comes back..."
- He grabs a pill bottle, tears it apart with his handsâpills scatter like broken teeth:Â
"What's the point?... Even if I swallow the whole dose, she'll return."
- A faint laugh echoes from outside... as if coming from within. He approaches the windowâand sees:
Outside, Riman laughs and plays with Nizar and Fox; their innocent laughter reaches him... but behind them stands a tall figure with long white hair, waving at him.
To himself:Â
"I'm exhaustedânot just one, but two of them now..." (as he clutches the scratches on his neck)
Suddenly, a strange feelingâas if a powerful presence has entered.Â
"What's happening out there?" (bewildered)
He notices the area has transformedâblood splattered everywhere, the sharp clicks of a woman's high heels approaching from the gate, accompanied by her terrifying laughter.
Sajjad (gravely):Â
"Unwelcome guests, it seems..."
He leaps from the windowâand vanishes.
