"Hi."
Kirsten was startled by a cheerful voice that called out to her. Against her better judgment of keeping herself hidden - by burying her face on the desk - she instinctively looked up, and saw the devil's brother stand in front of her as other students rustled out of the lecture room.
Panicked, she looked around hoping that Joey Seo was talking to someone else, but there was no one. It had to be her.
"Me?" She asked, trying to sound incredulous.
"Sorry, if I'm disturbing you," Joey smiled somewhat nervously.
"It… it's fine…" Kirsten mumbled.
"I just wanted to say I was really impressed earlier. You did a really good job there."
'Impressed… did a good job…'
Kirsten felt a pang in her heart. Those were the words that always made her happy, but somehow, coming from the devil's brother, they stung in a way she couldn't describe.
"Thank you."
"It seems you really like psychology, eh?" Joey asked, light heartedly.
