Chapter 41 - The Shark on the Stairs

"How do I look?"

James asked Micky, turning away from the mirror after adjusting the knot of his tie. He was dressed in a suit that almost looked black but had a faint sheen of dark brown under light. 

"So you do care to make a good impression then, eh?" Micky quipped. 

"I always do. Not because it's Misha's parents."

"If you say so," Micky chuckled, stepped forward to stand in front of the mirror, but James turned him around to fix the tie for him. 

"You are still so bad at this," James groaned. 

"Cut it out, I can do it myself-"

It was Micky's words that were cut off as James playfully pulled a little too hard on Micky's tie. 

"It's fine, Micky."

Now was the younger cousin's turn to groan at the embarrassment.

The two gentlemen then stood next to each other, looking into the mirror. 

"You are looking good, Micky," the Emperor approved. 

"I hope I don't outshine you," the younger one joked.

"You will someday," James put his arm around his cousin.
