Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: Weapons Factory 3

Long Author note: some of you may have noticed, yes there are two pics with the same name

Star Wars: Celestial Rising (Rework)

Star Wars: Celestial Rising [Rework]

No there is no difference between the two, only that Star Wars: Celestial Rising [Rework] one has 7k collections since I have removed all it's previous chapters and changed that first name from its original Star Wars: Rise of Mandalore fic name

Reason being is it was heavily flawed and wasn't updated for a whole year so it died down

I renamed it and did a full change and Rework, because those 7k collection people may read this new version and this story can get to them easier as the updates start returning

Additionally I made a seperate new fic Star Wars: Celestial Rising (Rework) in regular brackets (...) just in case since as a new fic it will be on the page and be listed easier to reach more people as the chapters are released

But to be honest there is no change as ill post the same Chapter to both, however...based on one comment I've decided that when I reach the end of the story, I'll have the final arc slightly different and entirely opposite endings as a Good and Bad ending choice since readers may feel unfulfilled by how ill end it since I was going to finish it on a Bad ending technically, but ill give both at the end so I'm not hunted down by everyone hehe

I don't mind too much on powerstones since with time I know it'll go up and then as a result this story can appear on the recommended or towards the top on the fiction search for a Star Wars fic to read, thereby reaching a wider audience

Additionally, ive decided to suprise you all. Rather than the intended route for the current arc until Grevious Intrigue episode events.

I looked at my notes and said "fuck it" imma give you lot some original stuff to not have you all bored

With the yapping all said and done

Now then, enjoy the Chapter

"It's decided, then." Luminara announced seeing the spectacle end, though inwardly she was relieved nothing had happened with her Padawan just now.

"I guess it is." Skywalker replied, though by the sound of his voice he was loathe to this idea but had begrudgingly accepted the decision, as he had no better alternative to provide.

"We'll monitor your progress on these chronometers. Synchronize on my mark. Three, two, one, mark." Having given what looked like timed wristwatches to the Padawans, all four of them had synchronized the devices in tandem as they flashed green perfectly at the same time, indicating their success.

"Let's get going. After you, Barriss."

As Barriss Offee began to run off, Ahsoka followed right after alongside her.

Daud had lingered behind for a moment and glanced back at Skywalker giving him a firm stare and nodding his non-human head.

The meaning was clear and both of them understood the briefing exchange.

Daud will take care of Ahsoka and bring her back unharmed.

With that done, Daud was like the wind as he had taken off on all his 6 limbs and effortlessly caught up with Ahsoka and Barris in no time at all.

In the distance, Skywalker and Luminara witnessed a comical sight, Daud had maneuvered underneath Ahsoka and hoisted her up onto his back before proceeding to do the same to Barriss.

The two girls letting out yelps of suprise as their response but turned into screams as Daud had picked up the pace and sprinted even faster than before.

In terms of speed Daud while carrying both Padawans was able to run at 50mph, which was double the Padawans previous running speed.

Luminara saw the exchange in silence. When the three left she turned back to her Jedi comrade. "You feel Ahsoka is not up to the task?"

"I never said that."

"What is it, then?"

"Nothing. Let's prepare the men." He realised he couldn't justify himself without openly admitting it, so he played it off with mild annoyance in his voice.

Bringing up the holographic 3 dimensional terrain map of the oncoming battlefield once again, the two began their strategic planning.

"We'll have to make a bold move if we're to draw them out of the factory and keep their attention on us and not the three of them." Luminara stated as she addressed the most crucial concern.

"The best way to do that is to march our troops straight up the middle, parade style. They can't resist that."

"With no cover?"

"Well, we have to make it tempting."

"The factory is operating at 50% production capacity. We have 10 garrisons of new droids ready to deploy."

The Tactical Droid explained to it's superior, Poggle the Lesser.

A varient of droid that possesses greater intellect than normal droids and acts as commanders.

The Archduke Poggle made insectoid clicking sounds as he spoke, but the Tactical Droid understood the Geonosian language with its translator.

"No, the Super Tanks are not ready, but when they are, the Republic forces will be routed. They have no weapon that can penetrate its heavy armor."

Poggle did not seem pleased with that answer as he angrily slammed his cane down on the ground, once again speaking to the Tactical Droid.

His hologram form, even now made the Tactical Droid nervous, but it continued to speak with confidence.

"Not to worry my Lord, as you had previously instructed, we have completed the weapon to deal with the Chimera clone. He will be dealt with and the one you requested has also arrived to personally deal with him."

The trio arrived at the base of the canyon in no time at all and arrived before the Republic Forces had giving them additional time.

Upon arriving they had gotten off Daud's back and Barris made quick work creating an entrance with her lightsaber.

"Nice work. Well, here goes nothing."

"I should go in first. I know the way." Barriss reminded the eager Ahsoka.

She was more alike with her master than she realised always headstrong to be the first to engage with any situation.

"Be my guest."

Barriss had entered first, followed immediately by Daud and lastly Ahsoka.

Daud was prepared for the situation which is why he was still as a Viperwolf.

A Viperwolf from the Avatar franchise could smell potential prey to up to 5 miles away, are faster than a bear but not quite as fast as a Chettah, hade climbing capabilities and four eyes that has night vision.

He didn't want to get lost in there, so he was by Barriss at the front, he could 'smell' the poluted air of the factory and trace that smell down every correct passage to reach the interior of the Droid Factory.

Though he had one more trump card he had specially prepared by altering his glands in specific ways.

The problem with his Shapeshifting is he had to spend time, alot of time analysing and deciding on what to become and have the correct mental 'blueprint' of the form he would take, this included vein placements, muscle composition, organ arrangements and more.

It was painful, it was uncomfortable, but the rush and exhilarating feeling he feels of being something other than human, a frail being he was in his past life, it gave him the thrill of power.

And the fact constantly transforming back and forth was just inviting pain when it was unnecessary so he often remained for as long as possible in the forms he becomes until absolutely necessary to change back to his Humanoid form.
