Chapter 41 - Return to calm

Everything settled down, and there were no more attacks.

Hawkeye and Black Widow, who had returned to the team, returned their equipment to Mr. Andy and requested to purchase such special weapons from him, but Mr. Andy refused.

It wasn't because the production of Amplification Crystals was low, but because that door could not be opened.

Once Amplification Crystals were sold, more people would want to buy them and pressure him to hand over the manufacturing method.

That's how the World works; it's fine to create a product, but if that product is the World's only and irreplaceable monopoly, it's very easy to be targeted by the entire World.

After greeting Nick Fury, Mr. Andy proposed exchanging the Red Dress Killers for some Bragi bones.

When the Red Dress Killers died, they turned into a pile of ashes, which was useless to Mr. Andy. He couldn't experiment with them, and taking them back would only send them to prison.

Being able to exchange them for some Bragi bones for research was making the best use of them. He had no way to deal with these Killers, but Nick Fury's interrogation methods might.

Norman Osborn was in a very good mood after acquiring a large number of Bragi bones. These bones would allow him to extract enough special substances for experiments to create a medicine to treat his family's genetic disease.

Returning to Osborn Manor,

Osborn's butler was using a taser switch to electrocute three Flying Dragons. These three Flying Dragons were already smoking and charred all over from the electricity.

"Hey! You can't abuse them like this; they're almost dead from your electrocution."

Seeing the three Flying Dragons on their last breath from the electrocution, Mr. Andy grew a little anxious. He hadn't expected this seemingly handsome old butler to have such a hobby.

He planned to raise these three Flying Dragons. Now they were barely alive, and he didn't know what the old man was thinking to electrocute them like this.

"Mr. Andy, these pets you just captured have caused us a lot of trouble."

The butler told Mr. Andy that although these Flying Dragons were restrained by Kinetic Absorption Traps, their strength had not been weakened.

Earlier, a servant from the Manor accidentally got too close to them and was knocked flying by a struggling Flying Dragon, breaking his arm bone in two on the spot.

So, for the sake of safety in the Manor, the old butler could only resort to some special methods.

He had people tie these Flying Dragons tightly with stripped cables and then electrocuted them.

However, the Flying Dragons' recovery ability was quite good. Not long after the electrocution, they became lively again, so the old butler could only continuously extend the electrocution time.

It was precisely because of this that when Mr. Andy saw them, he had already electrocuted these three Flying Dragons for nearly half an hour, which was why they looked on their last breath.

He kicked a Flying Dragon lying on the ground, charred black and emitting a meaty aroma. The Flying Dragon didn't struggle at all, only looked up at Mr. Andy and made a faint sound.

Hmm! Looks like it's still alive.

Seeing that the Flying Dragon was still alive and had one breath left, Mr. Andy instructed the old butler not to kill them. As for other matters, the butler could do as he pleased.

The strength of these Flying Dragons was indeed considerable; Mr. Andy had gained some understanding of them during the battle.

Many armed helicopters had their tail rotors torn off by their sharp claws in the air, causing them to crash.

In any case, armed helicopters were made of alloy materials, but under their claws, the helicopter's shell was almost no different from a piece of paper.

The sharpness of the Flying Dragons' claws might be one reason, but more so, it was because their strength was extremely powerful.

Since they made a mistake, they should accept punishment. The Flying Dragons' recovery ability was so strong that a few electrocutions wouldn't kill them. It was just the old butler helping him tame these Flying Dragons.

Now he needed to rest. The day's events had truly been very convoluted, but he didn't want to recall any of it and just wanted to get a good night's sleep.

Three days passed quickly.

Mr. Andy and Norman Osborn, after two days of rest, returned to New York.

New York was still as prosperous as before, as if everything they encountered in Los Angeles was just an absurd and ridiculous dream.

It wasn't until the three Flying Dragons were transported to Mr. Andy's laboratory that he reconfirmed that his experience in Los Angeles was not a dream.

The reason for transporting the Flying Dragons to the laboratory was that Mr. Andy planned to create a special collar for them.

He only discovered it in the Orokin System after waking up. Through the Dragon Pearl, he had unlocked energy aggregation technology and a complete set of animal companion research technologies.

Because he was too exhausted before, he hadn't noticed the Orokin System's notification.

Among the animal companion research technologies, there was a core technology specifically used to control animal companions, called the Animal Control Collar.

As long as an animal wore this collar, no matter how fierce its previous temperament, it would obediently submit to the will of the collar's Master.

So, Mr. Andy planned to create control collars for the three of them to control their behavior.

After all, they were considered very dangerous creatures, and if they were not tamed, it would be a significant problem for the safety of this place.

The manufacturing bay in the laboratory was running slowly, with sparks flickering inside.

Under Mr. Andy's operation, a large number of neurons and neural sensors were connected in the manufacturing bay, forming a precise and complex network structure.

These were used to connect the animal's nerves to better convey the Master's commands, which was the most core process of the entire control collar.

Soon, a control collar was manufactured and installed by Mr. Andy on the back of one of the Flying Dragons' necks.

After the collar was installed on the Flying Dragon's neck, a probe extended from the collar and inserted into the Flying Dragon's neck. The dense nerves in the collar connected with the Flying Dragon through the probe.

The moment the device on the collar lit up, the Flying Dragon's eyes no longer looked violent; instead, they became much gentler, like a pet raised from childhood.

Following suit, Mr. Andy successively manufactured two more control collars for the Flying Dragons.

He now had two more pet-like Flying Dragons by his side. Now they were not only Mr. Andy's pets but could also serve as mounts or combat partners when necessary.

Looking at the docile three Flying Dragons, Mr. Andy leaped onto one of them, riding on its back.

The Flying Dragon spread its wings, making a mess of the laboratory, and powerfully flapped its fleshy wings, carrying Mr. Andy out from the balcony.

"Woohoo~ Takeoff!"

Mr. Andy shouted joyfully on the Flying Dragon's back. Before, he had always been killing these Flying Dragons, and he hadn't properly experienced the feeling of riding on their backs. Now, it seemed that riding a Flying Dragon felt truly amazing.

The Flying Dragon carried Mr. Andy, flying up and down in the air, performing various thrilling stunts like an airplane.

The peculiar sight in the sky naturally wouldn't be ignored by pedestrians on the ground.

What did they see? A Flying Dragon, only existing in legends, was soaring up and down in the sky.

"OMG, is that a Flying Dragon? I remember news of Flying Dragons in Los Angeles a few days ago. They attacked Los Angeles. They're not going to attack New York now, are they?"

A pedestrian suddenly exclaimed, looking at the Flying Dragon in the sky.

He had seen videos of the Los Angeles attack at the time, with monsters everywhere. Cannon Beasts with cannons on their backs overturned tanks on the ground, and Flying Dragons in the sky spat Fireballs, attacking everything below.

Now that this Flying Dragon suddenly appeared in New York, did it mean that the monsters were going to attack New York?

The passerby's words caused panic among the surrounding pedestrians. Legendary Dragons were not benevolent beings, and these Flying Dragons might also be evil, just like Dragons.

A patrol officer disengaged the safety of his pistol, nervously watching the Flying Dragon in the sky, ready to shoot at any moment.

Meanwhile, Mr. Andy, riding the Flying Dragon in the sky, was completely unaware, still soaring up and down on the Flying Dragon.
