Looking at Stark's bruised forehead, Andy suppressed a smile and instructed Audis.
"Get Mr. Stark an ice pack, and two coffees while you're at it."
After speaking, he glanced at Stark again and burst into laughter.
Stark looked so comical now, with a full beard and a big bump on his head.
"Hey! That's enough!!!"
Unable to endure Andy's mockery any longer, Stark yelled angrily at Andy.
Andy waved his hand and turned to enter the laboratory; he needed to calm himself down.
Stark also entered the laboratory wearing his metal warframe, taking the ice pack from the mechanical arm and applying it to his forehead.
"How do you like my improved Mark 2? This is my experimental warframe, isn't it much stronger than your Guardian Armor?"
The coolness of the ice pack lessened the pain of his bruised forehead, and Stark reverted to his usual self.
Watching Stark proudly raise his head to show off the Mark 2, Andy shook his head helplessly.
"The Mark 2 is indeed very good, at least it's much stronger than my old, outdated Guardian Armor."
Stark nodded in agreement, then suddenly noticed a flaw in Andy's words.
What did he mean by 'much stronger than the outdated Guardian Armor'? When did Andy get a new warframe?
Just as he was about to ask, he saw Andy point to the display rack behind him.
Stark was very familiar with the display rack, as Andy's Guardian Armor had always been kept there.
The display racks were sealed glass cylinders, each displaying an item Andy had made for himself.
Stark looked at the display rack and noticed something different.
There were three strangely shaped humanoid items, which looked even uglier than the Guardian Armor.
Only the female-like humanoid item was somewhat acceptable; at least her figure was good.
"Are these your latest toys? They don't look very good; they're not as acceptable as the Guardian Armor."
Complaining about the three warframes, Stark looked at Andy, wanting to know what purpose these three served.
"Ha~ You really have no taste. Any one of these three warframes could blow you up, and I mean blow~ up!"
Andy glanced disdainfully at the Mark 2 on Stark, then opened Volt's display rack.
"His name is Volt, a super warrior who controls lightning. Want to compare whose speed is faster?"
With that, he entered Volt.
All of Volt's energy lights lit up, and electric arcs continuously jumped between the rings on his arms.
"Let's try it. Let's see who gets to your mansion first. The prize is a bottle of good whiskey, and the loser pays."
Saying this, he raised his hand and patted the Mark 2. The accumulated electricity on his body flowed along the Mark 2's metal warframe and all surged into the reactor in Stark's chest.
"Sir, a large amount of electrical energy is being replenished. Current energy remaining is 93%."
Inside the Mark 2, Jarvis's voice sounded.
When Andy patted the Mark 2, he detected a massive current replenishing the reactor's energy.
Jarvis's report surprised Stark. Andy had merely walked over and patted the Mark 2, and it had replenished some of his energy.
This warframe called Volt didn't seem entirely useless; at least it could replenish his energy at any time.
Looking at Volt in front of him, Stark nodded, agreeing to Andy's race request.
He also wanted to understand what was so powerful about this warframe Andy had created.
The two stood on the balcony, waiting for Audis's signal.
Audis made a long, whistling sound, and the two immediately sprang into action.
All of the Mark 2's thrusters activated, and Stark flew into the air, rapidly heading towards his mansion.
Andy, on the other hand, instantly used an acceleration skill when the signal sounded.
His body shot off the balcony, gliding through the air.
Volt ran at an extremely fast speed along the walls of tall buildings, bouncing back and forth between them.
The electric light on his body grew stronger and stronger, and Andy streaked through the city like a bolt of lightning.
Finally, at Stark's mansion.
Andy and Stark arrived at the same time; neither was a second faster than the other.
Exiting their respective warframes, the two exchanged smiles. This time, they considered it a draw.
Picking up a wine glass and tossing it to Andy, Stark said while opening the whiskey:
"Your Volt is indeed good, but trust me, I've already got new inspiration.
I'll be able to create the Mark 3 soon, and your Volt will quickly become my subordinate."
Pouring Andy a glass of wine, Stark continued, "Why does Volt release electric light?
And when you patted the Mark 2, a large amount of electrical energy was transferred from Volt, replenishing a portion of the energy in the miniature reactor in my chest."
Sitting on the sofa, swirling the whiskey in his glass, Andy smiled and said, "That's Volt's passive ability. He can continuously accumulate electrical energy while moving.
This accumulated electrical energy will be released during an attack. I told you he's a super warrior who controls lightning."
Unfortunately, Stark's attention wasn't focused on Andy's explanation.
He only noticed that this ability required an attack to be released. So, Andy's forceful patting of the Mark 2 earlier was an attack?
Staring at Andy, Stark said indignantly, "You attacked me! No wonder I almost lost my footing when you patted the Mark 2."
Looking at Stark, who was acting like a child, Andy shrugged helplessly.
This guy showed off his warframe to him, only to be mocked for half the day.
If he wanted to save face now, Andy wouldn't bother with it.
After complaining for a long time, Stark grew bored and then became interested in Volt again.
"Tell me, besides accumulating electrical energy, what other abilities does he have?"
He knew Andy couldn't possibly create a warframe that could only accumulate electrical energy; otherwise, he wouldn't have called Volt a super warrior who controls lightning.
"Volt doesn't have many abilities, but they are all good ones.
I used one of them, called Acceleration, during our race. As you saw, our speeds were comparable."
Taking a sip of whiskey from his glass, Andy continued, "As for the other abilities, they all release electrical energy for attack and defense. The difference between them lies in the energy consumption."
Listening to Andy's explanation, Stark nodded.
This warframe's abilities were very prominent, but they weren't released out of thin air.
Instead, they required the consumption of its own energy to be released, which wasn't too different from his Mark 2.
The Mark 2 also needed energy from the miniature reactor in his chest; otherwise, it would be impossible to fly.
After chatting for a while about warframe design, the two argued fiercely in the mansion.
Stark said Andy's aesthetics were terrible, and all his products had a strange appearance.
Andy said Stark's warframe design didn't consider safety issues and couldn't provide protection for the controller in an emergency.
The two argued heatedly, neither willing to concede.
As they argued, they suddenly burst into laughter. Despite their nitpicking about each other's warframes' problems,
they both knew that the technology contained within each other's warframes represented the pinnacle of technology in this World.
Even a small part of it could cause quite a stir in this World.
The two raised their glasses and clinked them together, toasting to the warframes they had each researched.
They both owned warframes they had created, and in the future, they could compete with each other, testing the combat capabilities of their respective warframes.
Regardless of the final outcome, they would both gain more inspiration, allowing them to make their warframes even stronger.
