The news of the Hand stronghold being breached by You-Know-Who quickly reached Madame Gao's ears.
Thinking of her losses, Madame Gao was furious, smashing the vase on the table to pieces.
That was a full two tons, something she intended to use to conquer the entire U.S. market, and it was lost just like that.
She didn't care about the dead assassins, because the Hand had special methods to revive them.
But losing two tons of goods, such a huge loss was unacceptable to her.
Madame Gao grabbed an assassin beside her and asked, "What does that You-Know-Who look like?"
She couldn't believe that just one person had caused one of her strongholds to fall; she had to find the guy who destroyed the stronghold.
The assassin, grabbed by Madame Gao, shivered and replied, "The revived people said that person has lion-shaped armor all over their body and can fire energy sword qi. This seems to be the third time he has killed our people."
The third time, it was already the third time.
Madame Gao pushed out a palm, sending the assassin flying.
"Is this how you work? Why didn't you report the previous times?"
She was about to lose her patience now; these assassins had been trained for so long, yet they were still so stupid.
The assassin was severely injured by Madame Gao's blow, blood spilling from his mouth.
But after he got up from the ground, he still maintained his original posture as he replied to Madame Gao.
"The previous times were all related to Vampires. We mistook him for a Vampire Hunter, so…"
"So you handled it yourselves?"
Looking at the assassin with blood streaming from his mouth, Madame Gao said with a sinister expression, "Who made this decision? Go back and take out one of his eyes as punishment."
After speaking, she turned and left. She had to meet that You-Know-Who and make him understand that the Hand was not to be trifled with.
After leaving that Hand stronghold, Andy kept heading towards the next location.
Because each location was far apart, Andy had Audis deliver the hoverboard in his direction.
As Andy rushed to the next stronghold, the hoverboard, with its unique tail flame, passed through various streets, constantly approaching Andy.
Finally, the hoverboard appeared in Andy's sight, and Andy flipped down from the wall.
Just as he was about to land, Andy's feet landed on the hoverboard.
"Ha~ Well done, Audis, perfect timing."
Andy praised Audis loudly, then controlled the hoverboard to start accelerating.
The thrusters on the skateboard erupted with stronger power, cutting a streak of light across the late-night streets.
With the hoverboard, Andy's movement speed was much faster.
In just a short while, he reached the next Hand stronghold.
This place was not like the previous stronghold; it was very quiet.
So quiet that one could hear the chirping of insects around, and even the sound of the wind rustling through the leaves.
Andy didn't care much, as the assassins at that stronghold had already been completely wiped out by him; it was impossible for anyone to report to other strongholds.
It was quiet here, perhaps because the Hand was keeping a low profile.
Quietly approaching the stronghold's main gate, there was only one assassin guarding it.
Taking the Empty Blade in his Hand, Andy's figure shot out like a bullet being chambered.
The assassin, without any preparation, was killed by Andy.
Gently laying down the assassin's body, watching him turn into dust little by little.
Andy nodded in satisfaction; this environmentally friendly way of dying was truly good.
Pushing open the gate, as Andy entered, several flying darts broke through the air and flew towards Andy.
Ding ding ding...
Under the dim light, the Empty Blade clashed with the flying darts, sparking tiny Mars.
Although he didn't know why these assassins were ambushing him here, since they were all here, Andy didn't have to kill them one by one.
Andy, holding the Empty Blade, rushed in. A dozen Empty Blade javelins appeared around him, flying towards the assassins.
Several assassins near Andy were split in half by the Empty Blade, while the javelins pinned the rest of the assassins to the wall.
After killing all these assassins with the Empty Blade, Andy opened the boxes stored there.
Sure enough, the contents of these boxes were the same as those in the previous stronghold. He looked around the room.
Andy didn't find any hostages here; instead, he saw many experimental instruments.
The purpose of these experimental instruments, one would know what they were used for by thinking about the contents of the boxes.
Since there were no hostages, Andy took out Ignis from his back and pulled the trigger, the flames accompanied by the explosion turned everything here into a sea of Fire.
After doing all this, Andy left the stronghold.
The explosion and the resulting Fire caused a considerable commotion here; even though it was sparsely populated, there were still some people.
Soon after Andy left, a car stopped not far from the stronghold.
Inside the car, Madame Gao looked with a gloomy expression at the stronghold, ablaze with Fire, and the many firefighters battling the blaze.
From the first stronghold to this one, she seemed to understand Andy's movements.
"Go back, we'll wait for him there."
The car started and gradually disappeared into the night.
On the other side, Andy encountered Jessica and others while on his way.
"Jessica? If I remember correctly, you all should be working at Hunter's Bar."
The hoverboard stopped beside them. These people were wearing strange tight-fitting clothes, and he didn't know what they were doing.
Seeing it was Andy, Jessica, who had been called, smiled and said, "Shang-Chi and Hector are at Hunter's Bar, so we can take turns on duty."
"Oh, right." Jessica seemed to remember something, she linked arms with the woman next to her and said, "This is my friend, her name is Misty. She used to be a Police officer, and we are investigating something."
As she spoke, she opened her phone, which displayed some pictures of Hand assassins.
"We need to find these guys' hiding place; they were fighting in front of our Tavern."
Looking at the Hand assassins on the phone, Andy nodded.
The Hand assassins were nothing to her and Luke Cage; if they really wanted to do these things, Andy wouldn't object.
As for Misty, looking at her mechanical right arm.
Since she dared to travel with two powered individuals, she must have her own exceptional qualities, at least she wouldn't drag them down.
During their conversation, a woman's scream came from an alley not far away.
Jessica didn't have time to talk to Andy and ran straight into the alley.
Not only her, but Luke Cage and Misty also rushed in with her.
Under Andy's curious gaze, two men, beaten black and blue, were thrown out by Luke Cage.
Judging by their miserable appearance, Jessica and the others must have held back.
Otherwise, these two men wouldn't be screaming like pigs being slaughtered, as if they were about to be killed.
Jessica helped a girl out of the alley; the girl's clothes were torn to rags all over her body.
Wrapped in Jessica's jacket, she hugged Jessica and cried loudly.
Looking at them, Andy felt that they weren't investigating the Hand at all, but rather acting as street heroes.
He greeted them, then Andy left the place because he felt a bit tired.
He had already cleared two Hand strongholds; continuing would affect his state tomorrow, so Andy rode his hoverboard back home to rest.
Madame Gao, who had waited all night at the stronghold, didn't see Andy until dawn.
The old woman, having suffered immense losses, became extremely agitated, constantly smashing various ceramic crafts. The room was filled with shattered porcelain fragments.
