Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Emily's Value!

The moment the contract fell into the trash can, Reagan Connor felt like he was slapped in the face. His right cheek was burning with anger, and he forced himself to suppress it.

Damn Luke Shaw! Damn ShowMe!

Emily glanced at him with a haughty air.

"The young master said that anyone who brings up a takeover will be kicked out. Since you're the first one, I won't bother with you."

"Who else has a contract? Bring it out."

The managers looked at each other, and no one spoke for a while. In the business world, it is all about give and take, and sweet talk, but who would have thought that when they met someone who didn't play by the rules, they would just quit.

They also realized that the other party had no intention of talking at all. Thinking of this, they couldn't help but turn their eyes to the initiator of the meeting - Robert Downs.

Robert was also confused. His original plan was for Luke to play the good cop and he to play the bad cop, and the two of them would work together to give the major banks a heavy blow, so that they would not dare to underestimate ShowMe's strength.

Unexpectedly, a purple-haired beauty came out and gave everyone a beating, which stunned everyone. However, judging from the result, it seemed to be good.

Robert coughed slightly and said,

"What does the boss want?"

"The upper limit for equity is 20%, and the lower limit for money is $30 million. If you can't do that, there's no point in discussing it."

Wells Fargo manager Brent Quincy frowned and said, "Miss, the figures you mentioned are quite excessive. According to the latest market research report, your company's market capitalization is less than 80 million US dollars. If we follow your estimate, we will have to pay double the commission."

"Twice is already too little. Young Master's goal is five times."

"How shameless!"

Reagan Connor shook his handsome mustache and said coldly, "A company that has never made a penny wants a market value of 400 million. What a joke."

Emily said expressionlessly,

"I'll pass this on to my boss."

"what ever!"

Reagan Connor grinned with disdain. A seventeen-year-old kid was not worth taking seriously.

Wendy Brown of Quinn Investments, the only woman present, said gently,

"Can you tell me your name?"

Emily turned around and saw that the person who spoke was a lady with white hair and elegant temperament. She said quickly,

"Hello, my name is Emily Song."

"Hello, Emily. I'm Wendy Brown, the CFO of Quinn Investments. You can call me Mrs. Brown. I have something to ask you. When does your company plan to become profitable? What are the specific measures? Do you have a contingency plan?"

"I'm sorry, ma'am, I'm not familiar with the question you're talking about. The young master only told me that he won't consider profitability until the total number of users reaches 20 million."

Twenty million!

Hearing this number, everyone was shocked.

Mrs. Brown laughed,

"The combined population of the fifty states in the United States is only 250 million. In other words, to meet that standard, one in ten Americans would need to be a ShowMe user..." He paused deliberately.

"I'm not doubting your company's capabilities, but the figures you mentioned are too shocking. Even if we manage to achieve them by chance, how long will it take? Five years? Ten years? Investments are all about returns, and we can't afford to wait ten years."

This question is very sharp and hits the nail on the head. Why does ShowMe, which has millions of users, have a market value of only 80 million? The reason is that it has no profit.

No matter how outstanding, promising, or promising a company is, it is nonsense if it cannot make a profit.

Emily chuckled.

"The number you mentioned is too high. It won't take five years, or even ten years. In just five months, ShowMe will reach 20 million users."

Five months?

Everyone shook their heads and didn't believe it at all.

Emily continued,

"The above is what the young master told me. You don't understand the young master's abilities yet. He's best at creating miracles. Take ShowMe, for example. Not long ago, it was a newly registered small company, but now it's the industry leader with eight million users. It took two months to go from zero to eight million. How long would it take to go from eight hundred to two thousand?"

After the words were spoken, the conference room fell silent again.

Everyone had their own thoughts, and Wendy Brown had a look of approval in her eyes.

This girl is very nice. She is neither humble nor arrogant, and is calm and composed.

In the brightly lit hall, Luke leaned on the sofa, drinking and enjoying the Broadway musical performance.

Charlie came over in a hurry and said anxiously,

"Oh no, boss, something happened."

"What's up?"

Charlie glanced around and whispered,

"The bank just called and said there's 110,000 missing from my account."

"So that's what it is." Luke pushed him aside. "No need to change. I spent the money."

"That's 110,000! How did you spend it?"

"I bought a skirt, a pair of bracelets, a pair of high-heeled boots, a pendant, and a pair of earrings, and that's it."

Charlie understood something and hesitated.

"The girl with purple hair."

"Yes, that's her." Luke raised his eyebrows proudly. "How about it, pretty, right?"

Charlie said with a bitter face, "It's already this time, and you're still thinking about picking up girls. Even if you want to pick up girls, you shouldn't pick her. Have you forgotten that she's from the FBI, working for Roger Consius?"

"Of course I know she's from the FBI. I also know she showed up here today just to get close to me."

"Then you still..."

Luke sighed and said helplessly,

"Charlie, you're only 24 years old. Why are you acting like such a busybody? It doesn't matter whether she's a spy or not. The key is her own value."

The more Charlie listened, the more confused he became.

"What value is there? She's just a 20-year-old girl. Besides being pretty, what value can she have?"

Luke lost interest in the conversation instantly. Charlie was good in every way: loyal, reliable, never fought back, never retaliated, worked hard, and never complained. The only problem was his IQ. He was out of his mind and no one could help him.

"Alright, alright, stop bothering me here. Go upstairs and bring the person over after the meeting."

"oh!"

Charlie responded and turned to leave.

As soon as he left, the dance ended. Bored, Luke stretched out his arms on the sofa and pondered the future development of ShowMe.

The goals of the first phase have been achieved, and the next step is all-round expansion.

There are many areas that can be explored in the video and picture sections, and the planning of black people lifting the tube should also be put on the agenda. Of course, the most important thing is the superhero. Superheroes are popularity. If you want to develop rapidly, you cannot do without their protection.

Just as I was thinking about it, a fresh scent of perfume came to my nose.

"Luke Xiao?"

Luke stared blankly at the girl who suddenly appeared. The girl was about seventeen or eighteen years old, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She had a great figure, especially the big bag on her chest, which was heavy and obviously a rare breed.

"Who are you..."

"Ivan Donald, Malky Donald is my father."

"Oh!!!! It's you."

Luke suddenly understood, looked up and down, and exclaimed,

"You are so beautiful, like a world supermodel."
