Chapter 37 - Chapter 37 Handsome Men and Beautiful Women

"Is Adusan awake?"

"Yeah! I woke up yesterday at noon."

"Has he been interrogated?"

Emily nodded slightly, her expression becoming more serious. "The medicine you gave me was very effective. He said everything he should and shouldn't have said."

"It seems you've obtained a lot of useful information!"

"You need to know!"

Luke shook his head. "Adusan is your prisoner. You don't have to tell me. I'm curious what you're going to do next."

Emily immediately became distressed when this matter was mentioned.

"I'm having a headache! Adusan talked about a lot of inside information, including the distribution of underground banks, the location of drug processing factories, transaction points, contact persons, and operation channels. There's so much information, I don't know where to start."

"Fool!"

Luke flicked her head and scolded her with a smile, "How can you handle such a big case by yourself? Why don't you think of asking some colleagues for help, such as the people from the Investigation Department?"

Emily was stunned, thinking.

Luke continued, "In this world, no matter what you do, if you want to succeed you need help."

"Falcone is an invincible great white shark. This type of shark is huge and swift, and you can't swallow it alone. You need to learn to cooperate and share. You can't do it alone. Find a few more people to cook the great white shark together. Afterwards, keep the fattiest part for yourself and share the rest with your companions. Only then will they help you wholeheartedly and push you to a higher position."

"Wouldn't it be a bad idea to do this?" Emily hesitated. "After all, they all have missions to accomplish, and Falcone isn't so easy to deal with. What if..."

Before he finished speaking, Luke burst into laughter, shaking his head and sighing.

"You are such a little fool!"

"Although the FBI is a judicial institution, it doesn't mean that there is fair competition within it. Ask your superhuman friends if they have ever been given a fair chance to compete."

Emily frowned slightly, lowered her head and said nothing.

Luke continued, "In my opinion, FBI agents are essentially fishermen, protecting the order of the ocean and eliminating those unruly fish. Fishing is both a job and a life. Small fish and shrimp are insignificant and cannot be put on the stage. Only big fish and sea beasts can demonstrate their value. Great white sharks like Falcone, which are rarely seen in decades, are the creatures fishermen dream of. Only great white sharks can help them break free from their inherent cages and ascend to higher levels."

"Call your friends in the Abnormal Adjustment Department, explain the situation, and let them make their own choice. Believe me, no one will refuse such a temptation."

Emily thought carefully about Luke's words and felt that they made sense. The Abnormal Investigations Unit was the most powerful division in the FBI, but due to their superhuman status, they had always been neglected and played supporting roles in missions. They had no credit, only hard work...

After much deliberation, Emily took out her cell phone.

Luke asked curiously, "What are you doing?!"

"You didn't say that. Call my friend."

Luke slapped his forehead, completely speechless.

"The great white shark hasn't even appeared yet, and the fishermen are already anxious! This is not the quality of a good hunter."

"When to call, wait for my notification. Before that, your primary concern is personnel selection. The person you choose doesn't have to be too strong, but you must keep it a secret. Do you understand?"

"Keep it a secret?"

Emily asked in confusion, "They won't betray me, will they?"

"Are you sure?"

Emily was silent for a moment, then muttered softly, "I'm not their inner worm, how would I know if they would reveal their secret?"

Luke looked up at the sky, wondering whether his decision to support Emily in climbing up was right or wrong?

With her IQ, can she really become a supervisor?

"How about this, tell me about your friends' personalities, family situations, personal finances, and recent needs.

I'll help you analyze it."

"It's not appropriate!"

The FBI has regulations that prohibit the disclosure of agent information.

Luke looked at her calmly and said, "If you don't think it's appropriate, you can figure it out on your own. However, you must tell me the personnel list before you call."

"All right!"

Emily did not refuse and accepted Luke's proposal.

After the conversation, the two walked in the park like a couple. The combination of handsome men and beautiful women will become the focus of everyone wherever they go, especially Emily. She wore a long skirt and a short shirt, revealing her slender waist, which made her look fashionable and sexy. With her purple hair and purple eyes, she was simply a walking hormone.

Two photographers wanted to take pictures of them, but Luke refused without hesitation.

It is enough to appreciate beautiful things by yourself, why let others fantasize about them.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, Luke said goodbye to Emily and returned to the company.

As soon as I entered the door, I noticed something strange in the air. The employees were walking in a hurry, and some even looked terrified.

Luke frowned and said in a deep voice,

"What's going on?"

Charlie gritted his teeth and said, "It was that scumbag Alexander Rhodes. He joined ShowMe as a shareholder representative, and when someone disagreed, he beat them up."

"Who got beaten?"

"Mike and Zack."

Luke nodded and continued to ask, "Where is Alexander Rhodes now?"

"Your office."

Luke didn't say anything, untied his tie, and strode into the office. Seeing the boss like this, the employees who were secretly observing the situation all broke out in cold sweats.

That bastard is tall and strong, his arms are thicker than an average person's thighs, and he looks like a gorilla standing there. If the boss provokes him, what if...

Some people wanted to persuade Luke not to cause trouble, but they swallowed the words back when they came to their lips.

The people in the Finance Department said that the company had signed an investment contract with the Central Bank for 30 million US dollars and 60% of the shares. As employees, although they were surprised why the company signed such a "low-cost" contract, that was the boss's business and had nothing to do with them. As long as the investor did not do anything wrong, there would be no problem.

Unfortunately, the appearance of Alexander Rhodes shattered this fantasy, and he was like a dark cloud hanging over ShowMe.

When I opened the office door, I saw Alexander sitting in a swivel chair smoking.

Luke closed the door behind him, blocking Charlie out.

He took off his suit, threw it on the sofa, stared straight ahead, his face as cold as ice.

"They told me that you beat up my people in my company."

"So what?"

Alexander crossed his legs and placed them on the table. He looked Luke up and down and teased, "Why? You want revenge?"

Luke unbuttoned his sleeves and asked indifferently, "Why beat them?"

"I'll hit you if I want to, what can you do to me?"

Luke suggested seriously, "You'd better tell me the reason. That way, you'll feel much better."

Alexander laughed wildly,

"You little white face want to fight me? Fine, I'm free today, I'll teach you a lesson and let you know how to be a dog."
