Chapter 6 - Shadow Clone

The scent of baked dough still lingered faintly in the pizzeria as Raven rested in her infant body, Yumi curled nearby with one tail lazily swaying. Her gaze, though small and newborn, carried the same fierce determination that had always burned within her. She focused on the fox, her voice resonating clearly in their shared telepathic bond. "With the Shadow Clone Technique, nothing is impossible."

Yumi tilted her head, curious as Raven's thoughts sharpened. She continued, her mind weaving through knowledge inherited from the Uzumaki bloodline. "The Shadow Clone isn't just for combat. When a clone meditates, the chakra it refines flows back into the main body when it disperses. That means I can build my chakra reserves far beyond normal limits. It works the same with training—any jutsu, taijutsu, even genjutsu the clone learns, all of that experience returns to me instantly. The only weakness is the psychological strain. Too many clones shatter the mind."

Yumi flicked her tail, her glowing eyes full of amusement. "That's true for ordinary shinobi. But you, Raven, are not ordinary. Your Rinnegan grants you resilience beyond mortals. It offsets the mental and psychological strain. Theoretically, if you had enough chakra, your clones could exist indefinitely."

Raven's infant body stilled, the glow of her Rinnegan shimmering faintly behind her tiny eyes. Her thoughts sharpened further, the weight of possibility pressing down on her. "You're saying my Rinnegan allows me to channel Shadow Clones for as long as I want?"

Yumi's voice held the warmth of approval, a smile hidden within the tone. "Effectively, yes."

Raven's small fists clenched against the soft fabric of her blanket, her will burning far beyond the limits of her new body. Her focus tunneled inward, chakra gathering inside her, raw and unrefined yet immense. She pressed it outward, infant hands trembling from the strain. Smoke burst into the air, filling the room with a sudden hiss.

When it cleared, a figure stood tall above her—a fully-grown Shadow Clone. Raven's breath caught in her mind as she looked upon herself, not as the helpless infant she currently was, but as the woman she would become. The clone stood twenty years old, long white hair cascading to her mid-back, her eyes glowing with the ripples of the Rinnegan. Her attire was sleek and battle-ready, kunoichi gear that revealed the crimson spiral of the coded Uzumaki clan crest emblazoned across her back something that no one but another Uzumaki would recognize.
