Running through the streets toward a quiet place outside the city, Amane, still troubled by her power, finally had a revelation.
Once she reached a secluded spot, hidden from prying eyes, she spoke hurriedly in the forest near the town:
"Eleanor, when will the resurrection of the Demon King take place?"
Emerging from Amane's shadow, Eleanor replied, "Exactly four months from now."
"Good. I'll have a mission for you," Amane revealed seriously. "You will infiltrate the royal capital and keep watch over the heroes for me."
Eleanor accepted, but doubts lingered in her voice.
"When should I return to your side, Goddess?"
"I don't know yet. Perhaps never… if the gods eliminate me first."
"I believe instead that you are trying to protect me."
Amane flushed, quickly averting her gaze, and answered, "That too, I suppose. Anyway, I'm not doomed—so I'm sure we'll meet again one day."
Eleanor didn't respond with words. For the first time, she looked straight into Amane's eyes and smiled. The smile stretched across her lips without her even realizing it, and her heart beat with an almost unreal lightness.
The air felt purer, softer, as if it carried a faint fragrance of unknown flowers. For a moment, Amane was captivated by her beauty—despite the fact she was a demon.
"Well then… farewell, dear Goddess," Eleanor said, certain that their paths would cross again sooner or later.
She disappeared into the shadows, more slowly than usual, as if a hidden part of her had finally been revealed, her true self shining through.
"Perhaps I was wrong about her… Her demeanor is that of a goddess, but with the conviction of a human," were Eleanor's final thoughts before vanishing from sight.
"I've recorded her with the Divine Eyes. I'll examine her past later to learn more about her. But now…" Amane summoned her keyboard and began to write.

"Good day, Miss Amane. Please give me a name," said a feminine voice, speaking like a virtual assistant in her mind.
"It works! Just as I thought. I don't write down pre-existing skills—I invent my own," Amane concluded about her divine writing.
"In fact, if I write a skill, I need a precise idea of its effect for it to function."
Excitement overwhelmed her, for her power was based entirely on her imagination. "Skills with levels might be something the system itself recognizes as necessary, or something like that."
She began thinking. "Well then, you'll be… um… maybe something simple. Mmmh. I'm really terrible at naming things…" she lamented, stretching her arms forward with a smile and closing her eyes.
"Name suggestion: Aria.
Please type your response on the keyboard."
"She even takes the initiative like I wanted… Well, Aria sounds cute, so let's go with that," Amane said, quickly making her decision.
"Name confirmed. Analyzing system stats… Analysis complete. Retrieving data from this world. Loading… 0.0256%; 4.2545%; 19.3452%; 55.01%; 99.98%; 100%."
"She's incredibly fast and efficient! So… can you answer all my questions?" Amane asked with curious delight.
"The data I possess contains everything except precise information about the gods. I only know a few legends about them, and what is written in the holy scriptures."
"Well, that's fine. Now that I know how it works, I'm going to have some fun writing new skills," she said with a smile on her lips.

Her skin began to shine with a subtle glow, then burst into radiant golden light. Her hair seemed to dance within it, as though ignited by an inner sun. Each beat of her heart resounded like a divine bell, scattering golden sparks into the air, banishing the surrounding shadows.

Her eyes wide with everything she'd just gained, she still felt puzzled. "Am I dreaming? I've become a Lesser Goddess—but how exactly are gods ranked?"
"According to what I know: at the very top is the Absolute God; then the Supreme God; Superior Gods; Lesser Gods; and demigods. But none of those sources mention evolution."
It was a jumble of contradictory sensations pushing against each other.
Her heart beat faster than usual; a smile kept creeping to her lips, sometimes accompanied by a small snort or incredulous breath: "This is… incredible… I'm the only one who can rise through the hierarchy."
"Please choose a domain."
"Wait—explain first what a domain is, and tell me more about my Absolute Eyes?"
"Domains are the fundamental concepts underlying all existence in this world. Each god possesses a domain with which they can redefine an entire realm according to that concept."
"So it's basically the ultimate weapon, then," she said with a careless shrug, eyes rolled upward—she didn't even try to feign surprise.
"Absolute Divine Eyes transform a conceptual focus into reality. Example: if you concentrate on something far away, the evolution of the Divine Eyes grants the power to observe anything at a distance."
"So being able to see the past means that… oh, I get it." She stared up at the clouded sky above the forest, wind whipping her long hair. She raised her hand, clenched a fist, and murmured, "I can't be sad anymore, so it's about looking forward, huh… Yukihira," letting out a little laugh.
"The domains you can write now are: Time, Space, Soul, Reality, Wisdom, Mind, and Power."
"Okay, this is going to be hard to choose. But if I pick Space I could go back. No! Bad idea — they definitely wouldn't let me leave."
"Suggestion: Choose Wisdom."
"No— I literally just created you. If you know everything now, that's not fair," she snapped, annoyed.
She calmed, thought long and hard, and after careful consideration made her choice.
"Congratulations, Soul Domain acquired.
New skill tree unlocked: table reserved exclusively for soul-related skills."
"Now no one can resist me. Now I'll finally have some fun." She began writing new skills.
"So is this hierarchy written in the holy book?"
"No."
"Then from a legend?" she asked.
"No."
Amane flushed scarlet but tried to stay composed.
"Then where do you get this information about the gods?!"
"Thanks to my system's adaptation, I was able to connect to the Absolute Eyes and use part of Wisdom — multiversal-level knowledge."
"Multi…versal…" she muttered, stiffening at the revelation. Regret washed over her.
"Damn it, why didn't I pick Wisdom!!!" she screamed, overwhelmed and distraught, dropping to her knees, eyes fixed on the sky, hands raised in despair.
She lowered her arms and, in a softer, hopeful voice, thought to herself, "Maybe that domain could have answered my questions."
A horde of monsters — twenty goblins and a goblin chief five times their size — approached her.
"Perfect timing. I'll let off some steam on you—and use you as guinea pigs," she said, rising from her knees.
A second interface opened and she quickly wrote a skill.
→ [Soul Cutter — added]
Soul Domain skills:
→ [Soul Cutter — Level ??]
Effect: Sends multiple invisible blades that strike directly at an enemy's essence.
> [Soul Cutter — activated]
She pointed toward them confidently as the monsters charged in a pack.
"I need a line that sounds awesome to look super stylish," she thought.
"May your existence be purified by my hand."
In an instant all the goblins died with no chance—an invisible strike that didn't touch the body but destroyed the soul directly. One blow was enough to annihilate them.
