Chapter 90 - Chapter 90

Chapter 90: Do You Prefer Big or Small?

The moment the final jutsu assessment ended, nearly all the examiners simultaneously breathed long sighs of relief.

Only Sasuko remained somewhat bewildered—throughout the entire exam, those dozen-plus examiners had been without exception tense in expression. Whenever she demonstrated even the most basic jutsu, she'd receive excessively enthusiastic praise, practically elevating her as if even Madara Uchiha reborn would pale in comparison.

But regardless, this strange exam was finally over.

Now she just wanted to quickly return to Yu's side, and then...

Thinking of what might happen tonight, Sasuko's fair cheeks couldn't help flushing. She unconsciously pressed her lips together, eyes flashing with shyness and anticipation.

The assessment ended, reaching the stage of announcing results and awarding forehead protectors. Usually, this was just going through the motions—an examiner would present the forehead protector with simple words of encouragement and be done.

However, how could Sasuko be an ordinary genin?

She'd barely walked out of the examination grounds when a group of Konoha higher-ups had already crowded around Yu's sofa, eagerly expressing congratulations.

"Lord Yu, your sister's talent is truly astonishing! At such a young age to have such accomplishments—her future is limitless!"

"Indeed, for Konoha to have such a new bud is entirely due to your cultivation, Lord!"

"Congratulations, Lord! Miss Sasuko's abilities are extremely rare even throughout shinobi world history!"

Everyone spoke over each other, flattering words flowing like a tide, enthusiasm far exceeding the scene when Tsunade assumed the Hokage position years ago.

Fifth Hokage Tsunade had long been waiting at the examination ground exit. Seeing Sasuko approach, she held an exquisitely crafted forehead protector inlaid with pure silver, preparing to personally place it on the girl.

Sasuko's gaze inadvertently fell on Tsunade's chest, pausing for a moment.

She recalled Yu once saying that this "particularly conspicuous figure" Hokage was his acquaintance.

And moreover... that night with Yu... he'd also paid especially close attention to this area.

Because when Sasuko put on her undergarment this morning, she'd discovered that compared to other places, this position had the most pink marks.

Thinking of this, Sasuko's face warmed slightly as she unconsciously averted her gaze.

Tsunade noticed the otherworldly beautiful girl before her staring at her chest and, thinking she was simply concerned about figure like girls her age, couldn't help but chuckle and proudly puff out her chest:

"Congratulations on officially becoming a shinobi."

She was about to personally place the forehead protector on Sasuko when she saw the other suddenly purse her lips and snatch the protector away:

"I'll do it myself."

Tsunade paused briefly before recovering her smile without further comment. But Sasuko felt somewhat uncomfortable—what was there to show off about? At her age, she wasn't exactly small either.

Except for Naruko, that little blonde who grew up eating who-knows-what, who else was that exaggerated...

The joy of successfully graduating was considerably dampened by that small episode.

Sasuko secretly resolved:

I must drink more milk from now on!

Just then, Yu's figure appeared beside her instantly with a slight spatial distortion.

Tsunade was startled into a slight tremor by this sudden appearance, chest rising and falling accordingly, but she quickly steadied herself and smiled:

"Congratulations, Sasuko received an S-rank evaluation—an extremely rare excellent result."

Upon seeing Yu, Sasuko immediately rushed forward, both hands tightly hugging his arm, inadvertently rubbing against him with her soft chest, happily acting spoiled. "Yu! I finished the exam!"

Yu smiled and gently pinched her smooth cheek. "Really impressive—I only got a D-rank back then."

Sasuko lifted her small face and grinned at Yu, body unconsciously swaying lightly, displaying a pure yet adorable temperament.

Yu praised me, so happy.

Only then did Yu raise his head to look at Tsunade, tone polite yet carrying some distance:

"Farewell, Fifth Hokage. These years, Sasuko has been in your care."

Tsunade remained immersed in the gentleness Yu had just shown Sasuko, momentarily distracted.

She'd known him for many years yet this was the first time seeing such genuine warmth appear on that face usually cold and distant.

She'd seen his madness when killing, the mockery when forcing her, and was more familiar with his indifference as if uncaring about everything. Yet never had she imagined he could have such a side.

Now this youth was already over eighteen. In Konoha, young people this age mostly had already married, yet he remained solitary, never truly close to any outsider.

Of course, those false rumors those old geezers created didn't count.

After Yu's words fell for a moment, Tsunade finally seemed to suddenly wake and hurriedly responded, "F-farewell."

Yu glanced at her without further comment.

In his eyes, this Fifth Hokage was far less young than her appearance suggested—if one really calculated, she could even be considered an old granny.

At this age, slow thinking and delayed reactions were understandable.

He nodded slightly, then embraced Sasuko as their figures disappeared in the slightly distorted air.

When Yu's figure vanished from the examination grounds, everyone present simultaneously relaxed, as if unloading a thousand-pound burden.

"Finally over..." a Konoha higher-up sighed quietly.

"Yes, especially when she used Lightning Style—I was so nervous my palms were covered in sweat, afraid she might accidentally hurt herself."

Everyone spoke over each other, words revealing a sense of post-disaster relief—knowing this was merely a genin graduation exam.

Only Tsunade still stood in place, mind repeatedly conjuring Yu's rarely-seen gentle smile.

She unconsciously sighed softly, suddenly feeling those ambiguous rumors about him and herself... didn't seem so annoying after all.

Space rippled slightly in the courtyard as Yu appeared quietly with Sasuko.

She'd barely steadied herself when her body swayed lightly and she took the opportunity to grab Yu's sleeve.

Sasuko lifted her flushed face, clear eyes looking straight at him, puffing out her cheeks to ask, "Yu... do you prefer bigger ones or smaller ones?"

Yu didn't react immediately and paused. "What bigger or smaller?"

She embarrassedly lowered her head, fingers quietly clutching her hem, voice growing smaller. "Just... the size here..." As she spoke, both hands lightly pressed on her chest, gaze shy yet persistent.

Yu immediately felt his cheeks heat as he averted his gaze and coughed lightly. "Why suddenly ask this..."

"Tell me!" Sasuko moved closer a step, softly pulling his arm. "I'll work hard!" Her gaze sparkled, lips slightly pursed, showing a charming appearance of absolutely not giving up without an answer.

Yu was pressed until his ears burned. In broad daylight, this topic really made him somewhat unable to speak.

If he really had to say... it should wait until nighttime when there were just the two of them, then slowly...
