"Greetings, Grand Worship." Dugu Bo's face turned calm, while Chrysanthemum Douluo seemed a little uneasy.
"Hmm." Qian Daoliu's gaze shifted to Yang Yunhai, and he gave a slight nod. Whether in strength, talent, wisdom, or character, Yang Yunhai was indeed worthy of his granddaughter.

As expected, it takes a villain to deal with villains. Just one test, and they've been exposed, Yang Yunhai thought with a glance.

The one who gained was Yang Yunhai, yet they were the ones beaten—how unfair! Of course, what they'd done could never be admitted.
"This Qian Daoliu—how can he slander us like this and throw his weight around?" Dugu Bo growled, though his face was swollen.
"Exactly." Chrysanthemum Douluo muttered, clutching his cheek.
Hah, all that's left intact is their stubborn mouths, Yang Yunhai sighed. "What can you do? He's a level 99 Limit Douluo."
As he spoke, he released his Martial Soul and began healing them.
Golden radiance spread over their faces, swiftly reducing the swelling until they looked normal again.
"Hmph. Once I reach level 99, I'll be sure to settle this score with him." Dugu Bo snorted coldly.
Yang Yunhai, however, fell into silence, deep in thought.
"My disciple, what's wrong?" Chrysanthemum Douluo asked.
Yang Yunhai snapped back and smiled. "Nothing. I was just thinking. It's still early. Since Grandfather has already left, let's return to our rooms and continue cultivating. Tomorrow, I'll head to the palace. After that, we'll depart for Star Dou Forest."
They had prepared long enough. To avoid unexpected troubles, it was time to capture the rabbit.
"Alright." The others nodded and returned to their rooms.
When Yang Yunhai opened his door, he was met with Dugu Yan's slightly resentful face and Zhu Zhuqing's calm gaze. His steps paused, then he gave a wry smile, stepped forward, and wrapped an arm around each of their waists. "Alright, don't be upset."
"Grandfather really went too far." Dugu Yan pouted again, expressing her displeasure.
"He's learned his lesson this time. I doubt there will be another incident." Yang Yunhai comforted her.
Caught up in the tone, Dugu Yan huffed. "If there is a next time, I'll rip every strand of his hair out!"
Zhu Zhuqing gave her a sidelong glance, then softly said, "It was the Cockscomb Phoenix Sunflower, wasn't it?"
"Mm." Yang Yunhai nodded, then looked a bit embarrassed. "After absorbing the immortal herb, she reached soul rank 70."
Dugu Yan's eyes widened in shock. "So, it was Qian Renxue—"
"Grandfather Dugu and Elder Yue must have hidden the side effects from Yun." Zhu Zhuqing said helplessly.
"Those two shameless old men, no sense of propriety at all." Dugu Yan pouted.
Zhu Zhuqing didn't comment further. "So, Sister Xue must already be pregnant, right?"
After all, simply diagnosing a so-called Crown Princess wouldn't make her man so attentive. She had suspected another truth all along.
"She's pregnant!?" Dugu Yan exclaimed.
"Yes." Yang Yunhai nodded. "It's been about four months."
Zhu Zhuqing fell silent. Dugu Yan's lips pursed tightly, both showing a tinge of jealousy.
"Yun, I can do it too." Dugu Yan muttered defiantly, clinging tighter to Yang Yunhai's arm.
Yang Yunhai turned to comfort her. "Yan Zi, don't worry. We still have plenty of time ahead of us. Besides, you both must go to Sea God Island. For the sake of being together in the future, there are things we have to try."
Dugu Yan went quiet at that.
"Alright, let's cultivate for now." Yang Yunhai said, then added, "Also, Zhuqing, Yan Zi, tomorrow you'll come with me to the palace."
"Spend some time with Xue'er and learn from the experience. I'll feel better about your safety if you're there too."
"The core region of Star Dou Forest is unlike any other place. Even with Grandfather and the others around, I can't be entirely at ease."
"Alright." Zhu Zhuqing's reply was simple.
"Then take care, Yun." Dugu Yan added.
"Don't worry, I'll be watching over him too." Yiner appeared, speaking with solemn determination.
Yang Yunhai chuckled, releasing them and moving onto the bed to continue cultivating soul power.
It wasn't until nearly dawn that he stopped, only to be pulled down by Dugu Yan, who claimed she needed compensation.
Yang Yunhai gladly agreed—and began "teaching" her new idioms: Day after day, melodies lingering for three days, advancing without faltering, flourishing day by day, flowing endlessly like a river.
The night passed without further words.
The next morning, as the sun rose, Yang Yunhai left the academy with the two women under Dugu Bo's escort, riding a carriage to the palace.
Before they even reached the gates, Xue Ye received word and immediately sent someone to fetch Xue Qinghe. He personally came to greet them.
"Such rare guests!" A hearty laugh carried over even before they arrived.
"Greetings, Your Majesty." Yang Yunhai led the two women in polite bows. Dugu Bo gave only a slight nod, saying little.
"There's no need for formality." Xue Ye smiled. "Nephew Yang, did you come today to see Qinghe?"
"Yes." Yang Yunhai nodded. "Your Majesty, Yan Zi is about to break through. I'd like to take Grandfather Dugu to the poisonous lands to seek out a rare soul beast. Since I worried Zhuqing and Yan Zi would be bored at home—and for their safety—I brought them here to keep the Crown Princess company and learn from the experience."
'So soon?' Xue Ye's heart jolted. He turned to Dugu Yan and smiled. "Congratulations, Niece Dugu."
"Your Majesty flatters me. It's only by chance." Dugu Yan answered modestly.
Her soul power had indeed reached rank 49, and rank 50 was near. With Yang Yunhai's fifth soul skill supporting her cultivation, progress was fast.
"Niece Dugu is too modest." Xue Ye chuckled, then turned back. "Brother Dugu, Nephew Yang, rest assured. My daughter-in-law is now pregnant, and my son Qinghe, a new father, treasures her greatly. We've already strengthened the defenses here. Safety is guaranteed. In fact," he turned to the two women, "the palace is lonely these days. It's precisely when my daughter-in-law most needs companionship. Having you two here to keep her company delights me—I only wish you'd stay longer."
"Then we'll trouble you, Your Majesty."
