The moment Professor Yang dismissed the class, Minho shot from his seat like he had been electrocuted. He didn't spare a glance for Daerim's confused expression or wait for his friend's inevitable questions about his strange behavior. His only thought was escape.
Immediate escape.
"Minho, wait up!" Daerim called after him, but Minho was already pushing through the throng of students filing out of the lecture hall.
His heart hammered against his ribs as he navigated the crowded corridors, taking random turns in a desperate attempt to lose his shadow.
Left down the science wing, right toward the library, then back around toward the main building. His expensive sneakers squeaked against the polished floors as he picked up his pace.
But no matter how many corners he turned or how many groups of students he weaved through, he could feel those eyes tracking his every movement. Jiwon was good at his job, apparently. Too good.
