Haeun stood in front of her mirror, adjusting her sweater for the third time as she got ready for drama practice at 4 PM. Aunt Nayoung had gone out earlier, muttering something about errands and leaving the apartment in blessed silence.
Her phone chimed again with another message, and she couldn't help the sheepish smile that spread across her face. She and Jaehwan had been texting nonstop throughout the day, exchanging everything from random observations about their professors to silly jokes that made her laugh out loud.
"Who's making my noona so giddy?"
Haeun jumped, spinning around to find Hyunbin standing behind her with that annoying smirk he wore whenever he caught her doing something embarrassing.
"Mind your own business," she said, swatting at him as he dodged away laughing.
