A red phantom rushed up the fire ladder, a blurry red figure on the ladder, raising a hand. A powerful biological gravity magnet pulled a person to Barry's hand.

The survivor was still in the same state of terror he'd been in on the balcony, but in the blink of an eye, he appeared dozens of meters away from the dangerous zone.

He was stunned.

Then he felt as if a gust of wind had passed, and a dozen more people appeared beside him.

In just 2 or 3 seconds, everyone saw a dozen people on the balcony fly out, then, as if teleporting, appear dozens of meters away.

"What was that? The red thing saved them!!!"

"It's a god, it's a god, it's a miracle manifest."

"It's a blurry red figure!"

"It seemed like lightning flashed... and they were saved."

The onlookers shouted, "This is a miracle, a wonder, a supernatural event!"

"Run far away! The building is going to collapse!"

The building slowly tilted, beginning to fall.

A red phantom darted in from the balcony.

Once inside, Barry felt the building tilting, his feet sliding down bit by bit. The sloping corridor made it difficult for him to gain traction.

He couldn't stop, he couldn't stop. If he stopped, he wouldn't be able to pick up speed, and he would be buried alive here.

Barry sped through the sloping corridor. In less than a second, he reached the child's room that Lin Li had mentioned.

However, his mind froze. The room was a mess, piles of rubble, a burst ceiling, exposed and strangely twisted rebar. The bed had tilted and fallen into a corner, smashed to pieces by rubble, and the wardrobe was almost buried. Everything was in disarray; the room was a scene of the apocalypse.

When he saw this situation, his mind was a bit frozen because there was no child here.

But Lin Li and Cisco clearly said they had detected a life sign.

In his Speed Force mode, almost everything around him was still.

His mind began to race frantically.

Where?

Where?

Where?

Almost all survivors were by the window or on the balcony; only one little one was curled up inside the room.

Curled up?

Barry looked at the wardrobe, buried under rubble.

He rushed directly to the wardrobe. The tilting of the building gave him a sense of urgency. Barry directly punched and broke the wardrobe.

A white child was curled up inside.

Pulling the child out directly, Barry sped out of the tilting building.

The red phantom placed the child among the crowd and vanished into the distance.

"Boom..."

The building collapsed, raising a large cloud of dust.

Barry, running, stopped in an empty alley.

He was breathing heavily, his heart pounding wildly. He had almost been buried in the rubble. The sloping ground made it very difficult for him to exert force, especially when he paused to break the wardrobe and save the person. Barry almost lost his connection to his speed when he stopped.

It was his first time running on such a sloping surface. This environment made it very difficult to gain traction, almost preventing him from running, but fortunately, he succeeded and saved over a dozen lives.

When Cisco and Lin Li saw the red dot in the 3D model on the screen rapidly moving outside.

Their racing hearts finally settled.

Cisco and Lin Li excitedly extended their palms and high-fived each other hard.

"The Flash is awesome."

Cisco said happily.

Before Barry and Lin Li could answer him, Caitlin's voice came from behind Cisco.

"What are you doing?"

Caitlin suddenly walked into the control room and asked, confused.

Because she had just heard Cisco and Lin Li sound very excited, their voices carrying far.

Cisco's heart skipped a beat, and he instantly closed all the screens. He knew Caitlin was very against Barry being The Flash.

"What are you doing? Cisco? Why did you close the screens? Lin Li, aren't you supposed to be training in the basement? What were you just saying about The Flash?"

Caitlin questioned him suspiciously.

Cisco stammered, "We... we... we are further researching Lin Li's control over electricity. What The Flash? We were discussing lightning, not The Flash."

Lin Li nodded with a serious expression, thinking he was absolutely right; this bluff was very well-played.

At this moment, Barry's excited voice came through the speaker: "Cisco, Lin Li, I did it! I rescued that child! This is really great."

Awkward...

Extremely awkward...

Caitlin glared at Cisco and Lin Li with a dark expression.

She snatched the microphone and said, "Barry, this is Caitlin."

Barry's excited voice abruptly stopped, then he chuckled dryly, "Hey, Caitlin, good morning. Have you had breakfast?"

Lin Li could already imagine how helpless Barry must be, to the point where his voice became falsetto.

"Get back to Star Labs immediately."

Caitlin said coldly.

Then she turned and glared fiercely at Lin Li, who shrugged easily.

Then Cisco could only keep nodding under her gaze, not even knowing why he was nodding, until he started humming a song to himself.

Barry, dragging yellow arcs of electricity, flashed back to Star Labs.

"Are you crazy? This suit must be your masterpiece, Cisco."

Caitlin said with a cold face.

Cisco was a little embarrassed, as he was about to be praised. He said with a hint of shyness, "Lin Li also helped make it, it's not all me. Of course, the overall concept is still mostly my credit."

Lin Li had a look on his face like he'd just had a bad day. "Brother, don't mention me at this moment; I only made two small parts."

"Who do you think you are? You're going to get yourselves killed."

Caitlin said, clearly displeased.

Cisco finally caught Caitlin's tone. He said, "I'm responsible for monitoring everything, Barry takes action to save people, Lin Li provides technical support and advice. We're very skilled, this is good, no problem at all."

Lin Li looked like he'd just seen something unbelievable. "What the heck, I just happened to participate with you guys; don't make it sound like I'm a veteran."

Barry also spoke up, "Caitlin, you don't need to worry at all. My speed is incredibly fast; nothing can hurt me. I can save lives. Just now, Cisco, Lin Li, and I saved over a dozen lives, OK? Without us, they would have died. Do you want to see them die?"

"You're going to get yourself killed by your own powers."

Caitlin said sharply.

"Can you say something?"

Wells was forced to come out in his wheelchair. If he had known this, he wouldn't have greeted Caitlin when he saw her on the way.

Wells actually also wanted Barry to be The Flash. After all, this was the future, and changing things would be disastrous. It was hard enough for the future to start getting back on track.

"I think Caitlin means that because we're just beginning to understand your body's abilities, we have no idea what the consequences of your frequent actions might be. So, Barry, it's better for you to be cautious and restrained."
