Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: The Phenomenon Begins

Seven Days Earlier - Day One

On the first day that Ryven and Victoria began their enlightenment session, the spiritual effects were contained within Victoria's apartment. The golden law runes floating around Ryven created a thick aura of comprehension that filled the living room, but the energy hadn't spread beyond the walls yet.

A few residents in the same building noticed something different. Mrs. something, an elderly cultivator who lived next door, felt her meditation become easier than usual. Mr. something2 on the floor below found his cultivation technique flowing more smoothly. But none of them connected these small improvements to anything happening nearby.

Day Two

By the second day, the enlightenment aura had grown stronger and begun seeping through the walls. The entire apartment building was now bathed in law energy that made cultivation advancement much easier for anyone with spiritual abilities.

The building's residents started gathering in the lobby, talking excitedly about their sudden cultivation improvements. Word began spreading through their social circles about the strange phenomenon in their area.

"My breakthrough that's been stuck for three years just happened overnight," said one resident.

"Same here. I finally understood the fire intent concept that my teacher couldn't explain properly," replied another.

News of the building's cultivation benefits started reaching the local cultivation community through social media and family connections. People began arriving from other parts of the city to investigate.

Day Three

The enlightenment aura had expanded to cover several city blocks. Hundreds of cultivators were now gathering in the area, setting up meditation positions on rooftops, in parks, and anywhere they could find space. The closer they got to Victoria's building, the stronger the effect became.

Elder Morrison and Master Zhang, the two Law Realm experts monitoring Earth and Tianxing, felt the disturbance from their asteroid communication base.

"This energy signature," Elder Morrison said, checking his sensors. "It's the same person who summoned the origin chaos."

"It has to be the same individual," Master Zhang agreed. "But this time the phenomenon is growing gradually instead of exploding outward."

They immediately teleported to the city and began setting up protective measures around the area. Their job was to guard whoever was creating this enlightenment field, both from potential threats and from being overwhelmed by curious cultivators.

"We need to establish a perimeter," Elder Morrison decided. "If this continues growing, we'll have cultivators from across both planet trying to get close."

Day Four

The enlightenment aura now covered the entire city. Millions of people with even basic cultivation abilities were experiencing rapid advancement. The local government had declared a city-wide "cultivation holiday" as normal business operations became impossible when everyone was focused on their spiritual development.

Cultivators from other cities on both Earth and Tianxing began arriving by the thousands. Spaceships, teleportation circles, and conventional transportation brought people seeking the incredible advancement opportunities. The expanded Earth provided enough space to accommodate the growing crowds.

The Strathor family compound was closest to the phenomenon's center. David Strathor stood in his family's main courtyard, watching cultivators fill every available space around their territory.

"Should we try to keep them away?" asked one of the family elders.

"No," David replied. "If we try to claim exclusive access to this, we'll make enemies of every major cultivation power on both planets. Better to share the benefits and maintain good relationships."

Day Five

Five rarely seen sect ancestors emerged from their long seclusions, drawn by reports of the unprecedented enlightenment phenomenon. These were Law Realm experts who normally spent decades in meditation, only appearing for truly extraordinary events.

Ancestor Blackstone of the Void Walking Sect arrived first, his spatial techniques allowing instant travel across continents. Ancestor Redcloud of the Elemental Harmony Sect followed, riding pillars of fire and lightning. Ancestor Silverwind of the Azure Heaven Sect appeared through wind manipulation that bent space itself.

Ancestor Goldleaf of the Earth Mountain Sect emerged from underground, while Ancestor Moonwhite of the Celestial Ice Sect descended from frozen clouds that had carried her across the ocean.

The seven Law Realm experts - the original two guardians plus the five sect ancestors - took positions around Victoria's apartment building. They didn't need to discuss their roles; all understood they were there to protect whoever was creating this phenomenon.

Cultivators on the ground and floating in the air maintained respectful distances from the Law Realm experts. The silence was remarkable - millions of people cultivating simultaneously without disruption or conflict.

Day Six

Elder Morrison approached David Strathor at the family compound. The Strathor patriarch had been fielding questions from various cultivation organizations for days.

"David, we need to know who's inside that building," Elder Morrison said directly. "Our job is to protect them, but we need basic information."

David looked at the seven Law Realm experts surrounding his sister's building. He knew these people were trying to help, and hiding information would only make their job harder.

"It's my younger sister's mansion," he said finally. "As for who's inside, it's my son and his aunt."

The Law Realm experts could sense two people cultivating within the building. Ancestor Blackstone frowned slightly.

"David, I thought your son couldn't cultivate? His grandfather came to me about twenty years ago because the boy's bloodline and physique were constantly fighting. I couldn't offer any solution - I'd never seen anything like his condition."

"Well, he can cultivate now," David replied simply, but offered no further details.

The experts didn't push for more information. They had already guessed that David's son was likely the same person who had summoned origin chaos during the planetary transformation. The timing and location made the connection obvious.

Day Seven

Multiple spy networks attempted to get close to the phenomenon's source, but the presence of seven Law Realm experts made infiltration impossible. Several alien agents were captured when they tried to approach the building with hostile intent.

The enlightenment aura had stabilized at city-wide coverage. Millions of cultivators had benefited from a full week of enhanced comprehension opportunities. Many had achieved breakthroughs that would normally take years or decades to accomplish.

News of the phenomenon had spread across both planets and into the wider galaxy through normal communication channels. Every major cultivation organization was making plans to send representatives, though most were still days or weeks away from arriving.

As the seventh day ended, the Law Realm experts maintained their protective positions around Victoria's building. They could sense that the two cultivators inside were still deep in their enlightenment session, unaware of the massive changes their cultivation had brought to the world around them.

The phenomenon that had started in a single apartment had grown to affect millions of people, attracted the attention of the galaxy's major powers, and created a situation that would reshape humanity's position in the cultivation universe.

And the two people responsible for it all remained completely focused on their law comprehension, oblivious to everything happening outside their meditation.
