"I'm going to die!!! I'm going to die!!! This time I'm really going to die!!!"
Zenitsu couldn't control himself, screaming. Senior Aoyama had disappeared, and in that opened room, there was no sign of the little girl or Senior Aoyama.
Leaving himself, the injured Tanjiro, and a boy, he couldn't think of any result other than death.
"Zenitsu, calm down, Senior Aoyama will be fine, don't panic too much."
Zenitsu suddenly stopped, looking at Tanjiro with a blank expression.
"I'm not worried, I want to be with Senior Aoyama! Moreover, my panic comes from you, you're injured, you can't protect me at all, right!"
Tanjiro's forehead was full of black lines. This, this, was it still his fault?
"Teruko! Teruko! Teruko! Where are you?"
His sister was gone, and the boy was calling out his sister's name everywhere, his face full of worry.
Zenitsu pounced over, grabbing the boy's arm. "Don't shout, don't shout, you can't shout! You absolutely can't shout."
The corners of Tanjiro's mouth twitched slightly upwards. Wasn't the one who had been shouting all along himself?
"Senior Aoyama said just now that shouting will let those bad guys hear, and that would be troublesome." In his mind, he couldn't help but imagine the appearance of those demons coming over.
"Let's get out of here quickly, let's go out and wait for Senior Aoyama and Teruko to come out."
Disdain appeared in the child's eyes, staring at the person who was grabbing him. "Wh-What! Why go out? You only want to save yourself!"
"You keep shouting that you're going to die, don't you feel ashamed at all? You're still grabbing the arm of a child and not letting go, aren't you embarrassed?"
Uh—
Zenitsu felt like an arrow had been stabbed straight into his heart, this was, piercing his heart!
"You still have a sword hanging on your waist, what do you even exist for?
Having already been stabbed in the heart, Zenitsu felt something grasping the nape of his neck, his body falling straight backward.
This child's words were too sharp...
There were several demon scents in the house, and now that Senior Aoyama had disappeared, Tanjiro frowned tightly, he had to find them as soon as possible.
There was some noise not far down the corridor, and Tanjiro didn't waste any more time here. If Zenitsu really wanted to leave, he could take the boy out from the back entrance.
Feeling that there was no danger, he ran towards the place where the sound was coming from.
When Zenitsu got up from the ground, Tanjiro had already disappeared, and now he couldn't stay in this house even more.
Grabbing the boy, he walked towards the entrance, saying as he walked, "Let's go, let's go, I'm only looking for adults because I'm useless!"
"Let go of me! Let go, I'm not going out." The boy's feet were sliding on the ground, unwilling to go.
"Do you know what the situation is? The situation now isn't something you and I can solve."
Whoosh—
He opened the entrance door.
He thought he would be able to see the scenery outside, and they would be safe once they got out.
But this, this damn it, how was it a room? Wasn't this the entrance door they had just come in through?
Zenitsu couldn't believe it, opening several doors next to him, the other side of the doors were all empty rooms, not the door to go outside.
"What!!! We, can't get out!" Zenitsu said the unbelievable reality.
Gritting his teeth, he reached out to open the door next to him again, and there was a figure in the darkness.
"Tan-Tanjiro?" he said softly.
The figure slowly turned its head, revealing a pair of large eyeballs. That wasn't the scariest part, the scary part was that the head, damn it, was a boar's head!!!
Two streams of air came out of the boar's head's nose.
"Ah—"
"Monster!!!"
Fear, fright, struck Zenitsu's heart.
The figure quickly flew out of the room, disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Zenitsu put his hands on top of his head, trembling with fear, not daring to raise his head at all.
The boy stood up from the ground, staring at Zenitsu with a blank expression. "Hey! It's already gone, what are you still afraid of!"
Zenitsu, with tears streaming down his face, shamelessly pointed, saying, "What! What kind of gaze is that, I don't like this gaze."
On the other side, Takeshi in the room, his hand on the sword at his waist, as long as Kyogai made any move, he would immediately draw his sword and attack.
"If it wasn't for them... If it wasn't for them getting in the way... Damn, damn!"
"If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have let one get away. Why does everyone love running to other people's homes, it's infuriating, those are my prey."
Takeshi let go of the hand that was covering Teruko's mouth, letting Teruko hide on the side, slowly drawing the sword from its sheath.
Seeing that Teruko had already hidden well in the corner, Takeshi asked, "Prey? Living people, how did they become your prey?"
"They were discovered by me on my territory, so they're my prey!"
Takeshi sneered. "What a good reason~" Slowly raising his eyes. "Then, right now, you count as my prey!"
Kyogai didn't care about the person in front of him, still muttering about the rare-blood child that had gotten away. Eating that child was equivalent to him eating fifty or even a hundred people.
Takeshi, holding the sword, jumped up from the ground, the blade pressing straight towards Kyogai in front of the door.
