"I don't know". He spoke in whispers loud enough for only her to hear.
She looked at him again and spoke. "Is it a human thing?".

"Then… what does it mean when a human stares at another human in that manner".
"Or another non-human?".
"Whatever". She rolled her eyes and looked away.
Drew licked his lips and walked closer to her. It was a habit he had developed early. She turned to him again and their eyes locked as he spoke.
"It means this human admires this siren and he wishes to love her and wishes she'd love him too. He wants to express what he really feels".

"How do sirens?".
