Bulma and Mai stood ready, facing Buu, their expressions fierce, determined… until the air itself shifted.
A strange ripple ran across the space between them — subtle at first, then sharp, like reality itself had been sliced open.
Buu's head tilted slightly, his smile fading. "Again?"
Before anyone could speak, a faint clap echoed behind them.
"Now, that's an interesting thing to hear from you," came a smooth, amused voice.
They turned.
Fu stood near the veranda, wearing his usual confident smirk and adjusting his glasses like he'd just walked into a science fair rather than a battle zone.
"Relax, relax. I didn't come to ruin your fun," he said cheerfully. "Actually… I came bearing gifts."
Buu's eyes narrowed. "Your gifts tend to explode."
Fu grinned wider. "Oh, come on. Not always."
He tapped a small device in his hand — a cube of shifting light that pulsed with a deep violet glow.
The world around them trembled. The cube unfolded into thin air, expanding into a swirling vortex that tore open the fabric of the courtyard itself.
Wind roared outward; Mai shielded her face; Bulma's hair whipped around her as the pressure built.
From the rift stepped five silhouettes — massive, armored, radiating an aura so dense it distorted the light.
As the dust settled, the shapes became clear.
Saiyans.
At the center stood Bardock, his eyes hidden behind a glowing mask.
Beside him, Tora, Fasha, Borgos and Shugesh loomed like living storms, their ki tainted with a deep, unnatural crimson.
Bulma's breath caught. "What… who are they?"
Fu clapped his hands together, utterly delighted.
"Oh, just some saiyan! Let's call them Version 2.0. I thought your Majin friend here might enjoy a challenge beyond playtime."
Buu's expression didn't change, but something in the air darkened. His aura shimmered faintly — pink light bending around him like liquid fire."You're testing me?"
Fu shrugged. "Testing everyone, actually. I'm curious how far your… little 'family experiment' can go."
"Family?" Bulma repeated, glaring.
Fu winked. "Well, you've got a Majin, and an ex-Saiyan elite team ready to kill you. Sounds like family drama to me."
Mai's hand pointed to him, pink energy alredy forming. "You have ten seconds to disappear."
"Oh, please," Fu said, amused. "Don't be so dramatic. Enjoy your gift, will you? It's not every day you get to fight history itself."
With that, he flicked his wrist — and the rift behind him sealed in a flash of violet light, leaving only the Saiyans standing there, their masked faces glowing ominously.
The courtyard fell silent.
Buu took a single step forward, his grin returning — sharper now, almost feral.
"Well," he said quietly, his voice carrying through the tense air, "looks like breakfast's over."
Bulma and Mai moved beside him, energy rising instinctively, their Majin auras flickering to life once again.
Panchy watched from the balcony, frozen in place — caught between fear and a strange, electric awe.
Above them, Bardock's distorted voice broke the silence."Eliminate."
And with that, the Saiyans lunged — the ground erupting under their feet as the first strike of chaos began.
Author here: It seems like I really enjoy creating cliffhangers hahah.
