Phoebe's POV.
Alpha Kingston suddenly pulled away.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that" Alpha Kingston muttered and closed his eyes, trying to fight back his wolf.
My hand flew to my neck but the mark had not been made. I wasn't thankful about it but we haven't spent so much time with each other.
We should get to know each other better and find our way into each other's hearts. He had shown his love towards me but I haven't reciprocated his love.
I was just scared by the fact that he was Alpha and he might not want me as his mate but he almost marked me, meaning that he wanted to accept me as his mate.
I rubbed the nape of my neck with my palm and smiled.
He finally opened his eyes and it had gone back to its normal color.
"Phoebe, I'm sorry; I didn't mean to do that," Alpha Kingston apologized and drew closer to inspect the bite.
He should be apologetic about anything because my wolf wanted it too. She was happy about it.
