Marshal's voice is heard:
"Before falling unconscious, I felt nothing, my mind was blank, and my eyes started to feel heavy, yet before I could understand what was going on, I fell on the ground.
... When I became the Supreme Entity of Nothingness, the initial thought in my mind was to fight against the crimes in Yokohama, but I think I was wrong. I wasn't given such absurd power to only fight against crimes.
... I was given such absurd power to deal with these cosmic events too. I said that I know everything but hide it for the sake of plot revelations, but I guess I was wrong here too.
... Because there are some things I am naturally not allowed to know. These things... they aren't my weaknesses but a sign that makes me a human.
... My life was supposed to be ordinary but I guess the Gates of Tusatra changed it. But from now on I can feel the energy, and I can sense the vibe too.
... I am prepared, bring it on!"
(Opening)
Azara is sitting on the surface of the moon and watching planet Earth. He hears footsteps approaching—it's a variant of Marshal.
Azara says:
"I've been sealed away. How do you plan to stay in contact with your original version now?"
The variant sits beside him:
"I cannot enter when Geko is with him. He was and he is the right hand of Ishi. They both are bad news for us."
Azara replies:
"Certainly! They both are. Geko, with his mastery of all techniques, can seal this whole multiversal madness. So you variants won't be able to get your way in here."
The variant nods:
"I know! It's better to stay in the background, and patiently wait for the perfect time to reveal everything."
Azara closes his eyes:
"The mess of this whole process is that there is no such thing as a 'perfect time'. Even if you wait, you won't be able to get anywhere."
The variant, with an expressionless face, replies:
"Even if I tell Marshal about what's going on, I might get sealed away in no time. At this point let's wait for the perfect warrior to enter."
Azara smiles before saying:
"You are right."
(On Earth)
A group of people, loaded with guns, is trying to rob a convenience store during daylight.
One of them pulls out a gun and says to the cashier:
"You stupid bastard, gimme all yer money."
The cashier is trembling in fear, he gulps while mumbling:
"It's my first day here only because the owner took a leave... Th-There is no such thing as 'money' here, at least right now."
The guy puts the gun on the table in frustration and starts fighting with his own mate:
"You freaking piece of junk, why the hell did you lead us here?"
His mate in confusion:
"You were arguing that you wanted to rob this shop... NOT THAT ONE!"
The guy gets angrier:
"I AM THE ONE WHO WAS ARGUING TO ROB THAT SHOP BUT YOU CHOSE THIS ONE."
The cashier stands and watches them argue with each other. He takes a look at the gun and picks it up.
He quickly aims it towards one guy:
"I-If ya'll don't leave... I will... fire this gun."
They look at him in silence and are stunned. The cashier squints his eyes while aiming at one of them:
"I watched this in an action movie once… I think."
The guy who kept the gun on the table pulls the real one, from his jacket, and says:
"Uno... reverse!"
The cashier gets in shock, his voice echoes in silence:
"Man! I'M DEAD..."
A man in his late twenties is walking on the footpath while eating mochi. His icy blonde hair is moving because of the cold breeze.
He has complete heterochromia: one eye is blue, and the other is amber. His eyes shine due to excitement whenever he takes a bite of one of his sweets.
Meet Shigure Arai—a teacher and a perfect warrior that Azara was talking about.
Arai passes by the same store—with robbers in it—and mumbles to himself:
"Let's get something to drink."
He enters the shop, doesn't notice what's going on, and straight walks towards the refrigerator kept in a corner.
The cashier and the robbers look at him. He picks a drink, opens and tastes it:
"Disgusting."
Then throws it in the dustbin.
He picks the other one:
"Oh! I like the design of it."
Then takes it towards the cashier. The group of robbers looks at him. Arai, smiling, says:
"Oh! My bad but I am in a hurry."
The robbers turn aside and the cashier looks at Arai then quickly grabs his hand:
"P-Please saaavveeeee me...."
Arai replies:
"But from whom?"
The cashier whispers:
"F-From these guys... Th-They are trying to rob this shop. It's not even mine."
Arai looks at the robbers.
They look back at him.
He says to the cashier:
"They look like good guys to me."
The cashier whispers:
"No, they are not. They have guns."
Arai while peeking at them:
"Oh! I see..."
One of the robbers tries to put a hand on Arai's shoulder but fails—his hand can't touch him.
The robber is shocked and asks:
"You good lil bro?"
Arai tilts his head slightly and says:
"Careful. You might catch a cold touching me."
The pressure in his casual words was so great that the group of robbers vanished like they never existed.
Arai says to the Cashier:
"How much... for this drink?"
The cashier instantly steps back:
"Ummm... You can have it. Th-Thanks for helping me out."
Arai smiles:
"For real?"
The cashier nods:
"Y-Yeah!"
Arai takes it and leaves.
The cashier sighs:
"How did he do that? Is he some kind of ninja?"
Geko is sitting in the hospital, beside Marshal's bed. There is a bouquet of flowers kept on the side.
Marshal slowly opens his eyes and mumbles:
"Geko-san?"
Geko smiles while asking him:
"How are you feeling now?"
Marshal replies:
"I am feeling good, but how... long have I been unconscious?"
Geko says:
"For almost five days."
Marshal gasps:
"R-Really?"
Geko nods while telling him:
"Miss Shikiya and Koto-san visited but you were unconscious."
Marshal sighs:
"I am glad all nine of them didn't arrive."
Geko replies:
"They are still busy with work. Miss Shikiya and Koto-san didn't sit for too long but there was someone... Leave it. I don't want to talk about it."
Marshal asks:
"What? Don't leave me hanging now."
Geko looks away while saying:
"Let's just... not talk about it."
Marshal takes a deep breath and stays silent. Geko thinks:
"Is it okay to hide it?"
After some time he reveals it on his own:
"Your Senpai, that president of the student council in your school."
Marshal says:
"Hanae Senpai? What happened to her?"
Geko whispers:
"Nothing happened to her. It's just she was here too, like very close to you."
Marshal says:
"Don't make it sound... AWFUL!"
Geko blinks his eyes:
"It is... because I said she was very close to you."
A moment of silence before Marshal speaks hesitantly:
"H-How... C-Close?"
Geko gulps—then mumbles:
"On top of... you."
*Blood spurts out of Marshal's nose dramatically.*
He quickly asks:
"Sh-She didn't do anything weird, right?"
Geko shakes his head:
"Sh-She was trying very hard for a kiss but... failed."
Marshal sighs:
"Well, it's fine as long as she didn't do any-"
Geko cuts him off and says:
"But, then you mumbled 'Tease me', technically it was like an approval but I came back on time so she had to stop midway."
Marshal freaks out while screaming:
"Uggghhhhhhhhhh! Twist on twists. How many twists are there in this so-called love story of mine?"
Geko slowly whispers:
"That's... all."
Marshal closes his eyes:
"I want to have some rest now."
The door of the hospital opens, and Arai enters from it. He asks a nurse:
"Yo! I want to meet... Marshal Bell!"
The nurse replies:
"P-Please fill in the information at the main desk and then you can meet the patient."
Arai nods energetically before walking away:
"Sure!"
The nurse keeps looking at him and whispers:
"His... eyes!"
Geko is sitting in the room when he suddenly senses something. His eyes widened in shock:
"What is this terrifying presence approaching this room?"
He looks at the door and stands up while snapping his fingers—trying to open the portal—but fails.
He says to Marshal:
"I just remembered that I had some work to do. So I'll be leaving now too."
Marshal doesn't say anything.
Geko leaves the room. With each step, his mind freezes further.
That's when He and Arai cross each other's paths. He gulps:
"This... I am familiar with it."
Their surroundings change—a white veil falls around them. Arai looks down with a smile on his face and says:
"Now that I am here, It's sad to say that your manipulation might not work on my student anymore."
Geko's body starts trembling. He looks at his hands, then at Arai. He normally passed by as if he didn't say anything.
Geko says to himself:
"H-He didn't say anything, but I feel like I heard... everything. It must be an illusion."
A deep—eerie and terrifying—voice says:
"NOOO!"
He looks behind, but there is no one. He takes a deep breath to calm down and walks away.
Arai knocks on the door:
"Marshal?"
He opens the door and enters. Marshal sees him and smiles with excitement:
"Arai Sensei?"
Arai replies:
"Long time no see, hehe!"
Marshal says:
"I remember seeing you some months ago because you were going on a foreign trip. What took you so long?"
Arai replies:
"What? I think I told you exactly when I'll be returning?"
Marshal rolls his eyes:
"Nope! You didn't."
Arai gets it:
"Ahh! I remember it. I had a thought of telling you, but later I felt like I've told you, so I didn't pay much attention to it."
Marshal falls on the ground.
Arai smiles:
"I also thought that after turning into the Supreme Entity of Nothingness, you would change but it looks like you haven't changed at all."
Marshal raises his brow:
"Did you ever change after becoming the Supreme Entity of Everything?"
Arai shakes his head.
Marshal says:
"Hmph! Hence, it is proven that if you stay true to yourself. Mere power-ups can never change your personality."
Arai replies:
"This is exactly what I taught you from the very start, my boy!"
Marshal proudly says:
"Hmph! Hmph! I remember it."
Arai says:
"Anyway, there is something that led me here."
Marshal looks at him:
"Exactly! Because your paradoxical state was to exist whereever you wanted, wasn't it?"
Arai nods while thinking:
"If I told him that Shi no Karasu is a trap he can never escape, it would grow even stronger. It's better to leave this matter in the shadows for him. Even I can't do anything in this matter."
Marshal asks:
"So what thing led you here?"
He says to Marshal:
"Look! I'll be blunt... The throne of the Omniverse kept in an unknown dimension is the one and only thing... Nagare Ishi wants."
Marshal gasps:
"The throne... Oh, yeah! One of my own variant was trying to tell me but our conversation ended mid-way."
Arai asks:
"But, why did it end mid-way? Were you spiritually trying to talk to him?"
Marshal shakes his head:
"It's because Selina saw a centipede in her room, mistook it for a worm, and screamed very loudly. So... I had to... go check on her!"
Arai keeps his hand on his head:
"Well, don't worry now. I am here to guide you and protect everyone... Let's say even if you don't fight Ishi, I'll take care of this matter."
Marshal asks:
"Why wouldn't I be able to fight him?"
Arai replies:
"Just a little imagined scenario."
Marshal asks again:
"Since Ishi is dangerously close to me in power level, if he and you faced each other on the battlefield, who would win?"
Arai smiles:
"Let's say, if he played dirty, it might create a little mess for me."
Marshal asks:
"So are there chances of you losing?"
Arai closes his eyes:
"Hmph! No matter what, I'd still win the battle."
