Some people are just plain bizarre across the worlds.
Take Saitama, for example-a man without blessings, magic, or superpowers, who broke his human limiter purely through effort. In three years, he went from an ordinary man with a full head of hair to a bald superhuman capable of leaping from the moon to Earth and defeating gods. Naturally, supporting characters like Makoto Kyogoku couldn't reach that level on their own-but Emiya was curious whether Makoto would accept an opportunity to grow.
Makoto fell silent. Loki's words had shattered the worldview he had carefully built over a decade. Gods, blessings, adventurers-these were concepts he had never encountered. But now, a fire ignited in his heart: he wanted to catch up to Ais and have a fair, fulfilling battle.
Finally, he spoke: "I accept."
Makoto Kyogoku became a member of the Loki Familia. Loki smiled happily; his potential as a top-tier adventurer-Level 5 or 6-was undeniable. She bestowed her blessing on him immediately.
Then, she revealed she was from another world, further shattering Makoto's worldview. But it made sense-he had never heard of gods in this world. He now understood Loki was a goddess from another world.
"What is this other world like?" Makoto asked.
Loki gave a brief explanation, and Makoto realized it truly aligned with human fantasies.
"Do you want to come see it for yourself?"
Makoto hesitated, "Can I come back if I go?"
"Of course," Loki said, pointing to Emiya. "If you want to return, just tell me, and I'll send him to bring you back."
Satisfied, Makoto prepared to leave, promising to say goodbye to his parents and friends. Loki watched him go, her smile unwavering.
"Any other recruits in this world?" she asked Emiya.
"No," he replied honestly. Others had potential but were tied to their identities, organizations, or countries. They couldn't abandon their responsibilities just to follow her.
"Alright. Once Makoto returns, you can send us back to Orario," she said.
"No problem," Emiya agreed. "But until then, I'll take you on a tour of this world."
Though Loki was familiar with the modern world, Riveria and Ais were not. Emiya guided the group through Tokyo, exploring movie theaters, supermarkets, fast food joints, cafes, squares, parks, and amusement parks.
At the Ferris wheel's peak, Riveria admired the bustling city below. The sunset painted the clouds like fire.
"The humans in this world are amazing. They've built such a beautiful city without magic or skills," Riveria exclaimed. Ais nodded in agreement.
Emiya asked, "Don't you dislike the destruction humans cause?"
Riveria laughed. "I believe it's wrong, but survival demands it. I won't blindly criticize humanity. If humans destroyed nature selfishly in my world, I would be angry-but this isn't my world."
Emiya laughed. "That's to be expected."
After the Ferris wheel, instead of Kikkaro for dinner, they explored street food across Asia: hot dry noodles, egg-stuffed pancakes, pancakes with fritters, biryani, ramen, sushi, masala dosa, uttapam, roti curry, lassi, rice and miso, malatang, spicy salad, roasted chicken wings, fried squid... dozens of dishes in one evening.
Emiya, Loki, and Ais easily handled the feast. The only one with a smaller appetite was Riveria, preferring fruit bowls over greasy foods.
One snack they refused entirely was fried stinky tofu. Even before entering the shop, all three ran away.
"Why eat something that smells rotten? Can humans really eat this?" Riveria asked.
Loki grabbed Emiya's collar. "Are you trying to kill me with this?"
Ais silently displayed her disapproval. Despite Emiya's insistence that stinky tofu was a famous delicacy in China, they refused.
To make up for the ruined mood, Emiya took them for Beijing duck, which delighted them all.
After dinner, they returned to Tokyo and spent the night at the most luxurious hotel.
The next day, they reunited with Makoto Kyogoku. Prepared, he packed his belongings and returned to Orario with Loki's group.
As they parted ways, Loki asked Emiya curiously, "What's next? Are you returning to that world?"
