In response to the examinees protest, the examiner gave a stern warning.
"Quiet or I will make you so you will never be able to become chunins."
After the rabble calmed down, he explained the meaning of this part of the chunin exams.
"As you are currently aware, a genjutsu was placed upon you when the exam started, the purpose of this was to first test your sensitivity to genjutsu and your logical thinking.
As you saw you had a whole 30 minutes to solve 20 questions.
So how would it be possible that to become a chunin a test would be held to test elementary knowledge."
After he finished he let the genins digest the information for a moment before continuing.
"This logical thinking test was so that you could be trusted to become a chunin.
Chunins perform many missions where the mission target is a piece of information.
You must be able to differentiate the fake information from the real.
This information gap could cost the lives of yourself and your teammates, if not found out."
After a couple of minutes of the examiner explaining the purpose of this exam, another voice was heard coming from a window in the classroom.
"Are you ready Murasaki?"
When the examiner heard this question he merely nodded.
"Tsk tsk, you left a little less than the minimum, but I will make do."
After finishing his mumbling, the person in the window jumped straight in front of the whole classroom.
"Listen up kids, my name is Yakiri Hyoshi, I'm the examiner of the second stage of the chunin exams!"
After making his introduction, he suddenly made an announcement.
"Now you brats know me, so you are ready for the second stage of the chunin exams.
The second stage of the chunin exams will be held in training groud 44, as otherwise known as the forest of death.
You and your teammates have 20 minutes to find your way to the forest of death, if you can't reach there in time, you and your team will be disqualified immediately."
After Yakiri Hyoshi explained the location and the time limit, a genin in the crowd asked a question.
"Yakiri-san, when will the timer start?"
When he heard this question his mouth curled out into a smile as he answered.
"It started when I ended my explanation."
When the genins heard this, the immediately jumped out of their seats and started running.
Those who were familiar with where the training ground 44 was ran there immediately, and those who were not familiar, asked quickly from other people or their senseis and immediately followed those who knew, as they saw them running in the correct direction.
Team Hiramasu on the other hand, rose from their seats calmly, and simply walked towards the window where the examiner had come from.
When they reached the outside of the building, they started using body flicker jutsu to rush towards their location.
In the end when they had reached the forest of death, they were the only examinees around.
It took another 18 minutes for the rest of the examinees to reach the location.
When Hyoshi saw that every team reached in time, he didn't seem surprised, he just calmly explained the rules of the second stage of the chunin exams.
When Yujiro heard the rules he was kind of exasperated.
'Aren't these just the rules from the original series.
Though I guess if they are using this method in every exam, I guess it's quite effective in weeding out the weak.'
Yujiro's musings were cut short, as an examiner secretly started handing out scrolls to different people.
And lead them to different gates, in front of the forest of death
Though for Yujiro this secrecy was utterly laughable, as he had the Byakugan and saw what kind of scrolls every team had.
In the end they were handed an earth scroll, after which they were guided to a gate.
When the trio were waiting before the gates, Mujin and Hyori asked a question.
"What's your plan to get through this part of the exam?" x2
When they asked the question at the same time, Yujiro teased them with a comment.
"Well looks like some people have been having dates."
As it was said with a teasing tone, Mujins and Hyori's faces started to redden almost immediately.
Ignoring their reactions to his comment, Yujiro seriously replied to their earlier question.
"First we will target one of these two teams.
First is the kusa squad with the blue haired boy, or the taki squad.
Both of them received the heaven scroll.
And both of them are next to our gates.
Once we beat one team, we just straight up use body flicker jutsu to rush to the tower at the center of this forest.
That way, we don't need to spend stamina or be guarded in the night inside this forest.
As for the matter of eliminating other teams.
Let this forest and other teams do the work for us, the weak teams will be eliminated in here, while the stronger teams will pass, which will let use demonstrate our strength in the last stage of this exam."
After Yujiro explanation, although it sounded extremely reasonable, Hyori and Mujin were still left dissatisfied, as they wanted to battle other teams.
As such Mujin stated his idea.
"Cant we fight against other squads.
I mean it's not that often we get to fight other ninjas."
When Yujiro heard this statement from Mujin he only gave a dry answer in return.
"I don't know why you are interested in fighting with the other teams, but I myself am not interested, after all, even if we fight against them, what good would it do to crush couple of weaklings."
When Hyori and Mujin heard Yujiro's answer they were quite surprised.
As Yujiro saw their faces he knew what they were thinking, so he clarified.
"It's not that I look down on others, it's just that they are that weak.
I checked the chakra amount of the people in this exam, and no others surpass, my or Mujins chakra levels.
While only 3 other people slightly surpass, Hyoris reserves.
So we really don't have anything to worry about.
While they were still reluctant, they ultimately agreed to Yujiro's plan.
