Chapter : 20 : Xiao Ming's Reputation :

At this moment Xiao Ming was sitting in front of his study table where two items were kept .
First was a high earth grade sword and the second item was an Alchemist pill recipe scroll .
Yes ! after waking up early in the morning he wasted no time and went to the market where he remembered seeing that shopkeeper from his last life simulation .
After searching for a few minutes he found that person was still in the same area calling out to potential customers .

The sword was a short Duan Jian sword with brown sheath and a light brown handle and hilt .
When he held the sword it simply felt perfect .
Due to it's great craftsmanship and weight distribution the sword felt light and balanced .
It was easy to move around and at the same time he felt the toughness of the sword by swinging it .
But more importantly for Xiao Ming , he now finally had a proper weapon for himself .
Before this he had to depend on his Evading Fist Technique alone .
And even though now he had the multiple water hands technique he still felt like he was missing something .
It was then that he remembered the moment he saw Xiao Yun all those days ago practicing in the forest with her sword that he felt that he needed a weapon of his own .
While at first he did not have any proper idea as to which one he would choose .
So he went to the clan's armoury to look for something suitable for him .
But since his position within the clan was still very low at that time he couldn't find anything good for himself .
At the same time he was focusing on mastering the evading fist technique so ultimately he decided to put this matter for letter thinking .
But now when he saw the high Earth grade sword in the life simulation he felt that it was a good thing that he did not choose anything before .

So he just kept reading all the information he could from the lower section of the library .

In no way did Xiao Ming try to take advantage of his now elevated position and reputation in an unjust manner .
While many of the girls were disappointed at their proposals being rejected but they still admired Xiao Ming for his respectful behavior .

Looking at these the desire to have them , to wear that robe and to have that badge himself instantly burned even brighter in Xiao Ming's heart .
And now he was so close to that dream that he could literally feel the sensation of it .
With that he didn't wait any longer and walked straight towards the building .
