( Author's Note : Hello guys I hope you all are doing well and before continuing any further I would like to classify somethings about The Alchemist flame :
First of all I would like to say it once again that The Alchemist flame is not similar to the fire type affinity .
One does not need to have fire type affinity to become a alchemist and they need an alchemist flame because both of them are different from each other .
Furthermore the alchemist flame is not often used in battle because it's hard to control outside it's use of making Alchemy pills but it does not mean that it cannot be used in battle .
In fact once someone manages to control it to that point then it becomes a great asset in battles specially the evolved form of The Alchemist flame .
The Alchemist flame is divided into two parts - the initial alchemist flame and the evolved alchemist flame .
The initial Alchemist flame is almost indistinguisable from each other as it looks like a normal flame but with far more soul energy in it .
The evolved Alchemist flame on the other hand is an evolved form of the initial Alchemist flame which after evolution gets their own unique characteristics .
This unique form of evolved Alchemist flame is near impossible to find to the point that even Alchemy Emperors may not have it .
And having an evolved form of Alchemist flame is not about being strong but its about being lucky .
Because most of the evolved form of Alchemist flame are found in the lost dungeons where they are kept as treasures .
And those who can themselves form an evolved form of Alchemist flame are either born with this talent or there compatibility with their Dou Qi affinity and special power must be on highest level .
The evolved form of the alchemist flame have the additional characteristics mixed with the flame . For example - the Frost Alchemist flame or Dark Alchemist flame .
Each have their own unique power and abilities which will be revealed in the future chapters .
And one more thing in order to use The Alchemist Flame one require the Dou Qi but in order to control it and upgraded further one requires soul power .
Soul power is the ultimate deciding factor for not only The Alchemist flame but also for Alchemy itself because .
Because while the Dou Qi is the fuel that runs the flame going then the soul power is the balancing factor as without it no alchemy is possible .
More information about this matter will be given in the future because this is a complex subject so all the information cannot be given in one authors note alone .

Chapter : 21 : Finding Alchemist Flame ( Part : 1 ) :
" Hello ! Beautiful senior sister I had some question about becoming an alchemist . So would you be kind enough to answer them . "
At this moment Xiao Ming had already entered the reception area of The Alchemist hall where he found many windows with various senior brothers and sisters helping people .
So he found a empty reception window and found a senior sister working there .
" Oh ! You want to become an Alchemist little brother ? "
Looking up from her work the female cultivator found herself looking at a young boy looking at her .
He was young and most likely someone who hadn't started cultivating for little more than a year standing in front of the window .
To be honest he was somewhat surprised .
After all not many of this age came to the Alchemy division to become an alchemist and most wouldn't even consider it.
Afterall becoming and Alchemist was a respectable job within the cultivation world it was also very time consuming and frankly boaring.
So many youngsters of Xiao Ming's age do not choose it .
And even for those who choose it , they give up after sometime because they find it too tiresome and boring to continue .
And she felt that this boy in front of him would not be any different either .
" Yes I want to become a alchemist so what do I need to do . " - Xiao Ming said still smiling politely .
He understood what the lady in front of him was thinking .
But he did not say anything because what she was thinking was very normal that's just how things went .
So he will just let his action speak for himself .
" Well you need to have a Alchemist flame for becoming an alchemist . Have you checked for it yet ? " - seeing the determination in his eyes the senior sister said after all it was her duty to guide new cultivators like him .

" After you have found your Alchemist flame , you will be required to give a theoretical test where it will be seen if you have sufficient knowledge to start your Alchemist journey or not . " - she continued to explain the process as both of them walked through the hallway .
" But don't worry about the theory test too much . " - she said with a smile .
" Because the most important part is to awaken your Alchemist flame and after that if you fail in your theoretical test it would only mean that you will have to give that test again sometime else . "
Listening to this Xiao Ming nodded in understanding .
Finding and awakening The Alchemist flame was the real challenge as it was the most basic requirement to become an alchemist .
The theoretical test was to seeing his knowledge about Alchemy before hand which can be given once each month , so that wasn't the biggest issue .
And he had confidence in passing through the theoretical test quite easily .
But if you don't have the alchemist flame then no matter how good your theoretical knowledge might be you won't be able to become an alchemist .
" Oh ! By the way what's your name ? I need to write that in the register . " - suddenly the senior sister asked .
" My name is Xiao Ming ! "
Hearing this name a sudden look of realisation appeared on her face .
" So you are that Xiao Ming everyone is talking in the clan recently . The one who defeated Xiao Zhan as in the fourth elder's grandson . " - she asked in surprise .
While Xiao Ming's name has started to spread around the clan it did not mean everyone knew how he looked .
Most of the descriptions about Xiao Ming were from gossips .
And let's just say those gossips might just have exaggerated how he looks a little .
" Please ! senior sister there is no need refer me like that . "
" It was a hard battle and I won through pure luck and coincidence hence there is nothing extraordinary about it . " - Xiao Ming said humbly .
" Well ! It seems your reputation as someone humble and good natured is certainly true . " - she said with a small smile .
While chatting for a while both of them reached their destination .
It was a huge room where there were multiple small chambers with people meditating inside .
These were the meditation chambers of The Alchemist hall where newcomers came to meditate and find their alchemist flame .
" Alright you can use this chamber you will find a manual from where you can learn how to find for your Alchemist flame . "
" Follow the instructions carefully and hopefully you will find your Alchemist flame . " - with that she gave her best wishes and left the room .
After thanking the senior sister Xiao Ming entered the room .
After entering the room Xiao Ming saw a meditation mat with incense sticks giving a beautiful smell to the room .
Infront of the meditation mat there was a small Medicinal Cauldron and a sealed box beside it .
Xiao Ming quickly closed the door and sat down on the meditation mat like he does when meditating at home .
He then opened the box and found that there was a small instruction manual and one alchemist pill inside it .
He quickly started reading the instruction manual and after reading for about five minutes he closed it .
The manual was long and boring even for Xiao Ming and that saying something .
But no matter how boring it was , the inscriptions inside was necessary as said by the senior sister before .
And after reading it he understood why she focused so much on reading the manual .
The manual stated a lot of requirements that he didn't previously knew .
It also recorded some special techniques as how to find the alchemist flame .
It also told him what to do before and after awakening The Alchemist flame.
Then he took the Alchemist pill in his hand and ate it .
According to the manual this was a second tier energy pill .
Since the process of finding once Alchemist flame is exhausting and time consuming it may take an entire day or two.
During this process he can't stop his meditation or he will have to start from the beginning again .
And eating this pill will give him the energy to go on for two days without eating and resting.
If he had not red the manual properly he would not have known this .
And anyone who would start the meditation process without eating the pill or knowing the proper techniques of finding the Alchemist flame would not only not be able to find ther alchemist flame but might even suffer due to the lack of stamina and energy by the end of the day .
Then there was the medicinal cauldron in front of him which was filled with water .
According to the manual after finding his Alchemist flame he must use that flame to boil the water inside the medicinal cauldron with full power .
The medicinal cauldron was actually made from a special meterial that could detect and record the effects of the alchemist flame .
After he has finished that process he will have to take the medicinal cauldron to the senior at the reception hall where they will evaluate the power of his alchemist flame .
" Alright let's get going . " - with that final thought he closed your eyes going instantly in his meditative state .
As the voices from all his surrounding disappeared he started slowly channeling his Dou Qi throughout his body just like he does in his daily training .
But this time instead of focusing on it's circulation he focuses its use as a sensory power .
As he moves his Dou Qi throughout his body he made sure to spread it evenly everywhere .
His journey to find his alchemist flame has just barely begin .
Location Change : Unknown Cave :
" Tap ! Tap ! Tap ! "
Sounds of foot steps could be heard inside the dark cave as two figures covered in black dress can be seen walking down the stone carved stairs .
One thing that was common for both of them was that both of them were wearing some kind of demonic masks that covered half of their faces .
" Is it ready yet ? " -suddenly one of them asked in a low and rough voice .
" No ! We are still lacking a lot of resources . " - replied his partner .
" Why is it so late ? I thought everything was going fine ? " - the first person asked in confusion and clear frustration .
" Recently our forces on the surface had come under attack by the people from the Mythical Dragon sect . " - his partner explained .
" This has put a lot of impact on our schedule and manpower as now we have to be extra careful . "
" I'm afraid that the lord will not like this delay . " - the first man said as his voice had a hint of fear in it .
" Don't worry ! I am sure he will understand . After all there is nothing we can do about it . " - his partner said .
" For now let's focus on our assignments . "
" This way we will continue to contribute to our great cause . "
" Yes ! Everything is for the great cause ! And those who comes in between will be punished . "
