Chapter 339: The Secret Realm Token

The Golden Dragon King noticed the gravity in Gu Yue Na's expression. Though his arrogance faded slightly, a trace of defiance remained in his golden eyes.

"If you claim they're so powerful," he said coldly, "then I want to see it for myself."

"I've just broken free—I might as well witness what kind of strength the so-called top forces of today possess."

Gu Yue Na nodded. "Very well. The Starry Sky Auction Pavilion should be holding another auction even now. We can see for ourselves. But remember, do not act rashly. We must first learn their true depth."

As soon as she finished speaking, silvery ripples of spatial energy flowed from around her body. In the next breath, she, the Golden Dragon King, Di Tian, and Bi Ji vanished from the Star Dou Forest, streaking toward the direction of the Pavilion.

…

The Starry Sky Auction Pavilion was bustling with activity. The previous auction item had just sold at a staggering price.

The audience, still charged with excitement, eagerly anticipated the next treasure to be unveiled.

On the top floor, Jiang Li sat quietly behind a glass screen, fingers tapping lightly against the table as his calm gaze rested on the stage below.

Lei Yao had retreated into seclusion to absorb the Lightning Source and solidify his divine power.

At the center of the shining platform stood Ling Yun, smiling gracefully as her eyes swept over the crowd.

"Thank you, honored guests, for your continued enthusiasm," she said. "The next item we present far surpasses everything auctioned so far—it can even alter a powerful soul master's destiny."

As her words echoed through the grand hall, she waved her hand gently.

A ray of light flashed, and a black token appeared above the auction platform.

Its surface was a deep obsidian, engraved with winding patterns of gold that shimmered like rivers of starlight. A wave of noble and mysterious energy rippled outward from it.

The token floated in midair, distorting the very space around it.

Gasps rippled through the audience. Many leaned forward, unable to look away.

"This is…"

Jing Hongchen of the Mingde Hall narrowed his eyes.

As one of the Sun Moon Empire's most renowned Rank-9 soul engineers, he had seen every rare material known to Douluo Continent—but this metal was utterly alien.

Even standing at a distance, he could sense an energy so dense it nearly made his soul tremble.

If unleashed, that token could easily tear through space itself.

"This material… definitely doesn't belong to Douluo Continent," he whispered in awe.

"Could it be something from another plane? Then its function must be extraordinary."

While the hall buzzed with speculation, a sudden surge of powerful auras swept through the Pavilion's entrance.

Four figures appeared as if out of thin air: Gu Yue Na and the Golden Dragon King in the lead, with Di Tian and Bi Ji following closely.

Their mere arrival shifted the atmosphere instantly.

The room fell into a stunned silence; every eye turned toward them.

Ling Yun's pupils tightened. When her gaze met the Golden Dragon King's, her brows furrowed.

That man's presence—the violent, majestic energy coursing through his body—felt no weaker than Gu Yue Na's. In sheer physical strength, he might even surpass her.

From the reverence in Di Tian and Bi Ji's posture, it was clear—this newcomer was no common spirit beast powerhouse.

"Ling Yun," Jiang Li's calm voice sounded in her mind. "The man before you is the Golden Dragon King, the other half of the Dragon God."

He paused briefly before continuing, his tone indifferent, "Do not be alarmed. With me here, they cannot cause trouble. Continue the auction."

Calming herself, Ling Yun forced down her astonishment. Her smile returned, every motion poised and elegant. Clearing her throat, she lifted her voice.

"To our new guests, welcome. Please be seated—the auction must proceed. Next, I will explain the function of this token."

She gestured toward the hovering black token.

"This item is known as the Secret Realm Token. Once bound with one's spiritual power, the user can activate it to be transported into a secret realm within the Myriad Worlds."

"Be warned, however—each token can only be used once. Upon activation, it will destroy itself."

"The Myriad Worlds?"

An audible gasp spread through the hall. For many, the revelation was almost beyond comprehension.

Most had long believed Douluo Continent to be the entire world. The idea that countless planes existed beyond it left the audience breathless.

Though previous auctions had hinted at the existence of other realms, no one imagined that the number of planes numbered in the tens of thousands.

Ling Yun continued, her tone crisp and clear. "Indeed, the Myriad Worlds are endless. Some planes possess powers far beyond Douluo Continent, while others are mere mortal lands. The realm you'll enter through this token is entirely unpredictable."

"With fortune, you may find yourself in a resource-rich world—one that could elevate you from mortal to god."

"With misfortune…" Her eyes darkened. "You might land in a realm filled with peril and be erased the moment you arrive."

Her words struck the audience like thunder. Anticipation and fear clashed in their hearts.

The members of Shrek Academy exchanged fervent glances. If they could win this token, perhaps their academy could cultivate another divine-level powerhouse.

Du Bushi of the Body Sect clenched his fists tightly. His cultivation path depended solely on his raw body. What he lacked was an opportunity—this token might grant it.

Xu Tiannan of the Sun Moon Empire was breathing hard, his face flushed with excitement. If his empire could harness the resources of another realm, their power would multiply overnight.

Even the Golden Dragon King looked intrigued. Though freshly freed and not yet fully recovered, he understood that a powerful secret realm might aid his recovery—or even grant him further insight into his strength.

Gu Yue Na stood silently beside him, her gaze steady, curious to see what new mysteries the Pavilion would reveal.

"The starting bid for the Secret Realm Token is 300 million gold soul coins," Ling Yun declared. "Each increase must be no less than 50 million."

Her voice rippled across the silent crowd.

"I bid 350 million!"

The first to respond was Zhong Li Wu of the Holy Spirit Cult. His voice was sharp with desire—he clearly intended to claim the token no matter the cost.

He knew very well the danger that came with unknown realms—but danger was the price of opportunity.

He had long yearned to surpass the rank of Ultimate Douluo and touch the realm of gods. This was his chance. He couldn't let it fall into any other faction's hands.

"Four hundred million!"

Yan Shao Zhe from Shrek Academy countered without hesitation.

After a brief internal discussion, Shrek's delegation had reached one conclusion—this token could change fate itself.

Whatever danger awaited beyond the portal was a risk worth taking.

If fortune favored them, the token could forge a new invincible powerhouse—one who could stand unchallenged over all of Douluo Continent, humans and spirit beasts alike.
