Chapter 6 - A Queen's tearful promise

Not many would be able to say that they found against history's famous god slayer. She who ruled the land of the shadows. Trapped in the repeated cycle of guarding the realm from letting any beings leave it.

It was her purpose which dwindled little by little. How long has it been since she left the place. Years, Decades, Millennium. But it changed with a man who's power rivaled her's, actually was stronger than her.

She wanted to train him, but it seemed he had his own methods of growing stronger. Somehow their fates intertwined. Only for her to have that happiness she experience, the emotion she long forgotten.

Love

It's been so long since she ever felt emotions, just sealed away from the loneliness her job carried. Only wanting to find a talented warrior to train, then have them kill her. Only for none of them to be able to. None to fully satisfy her battle hungry self.

One man did, beat her multiple times and she only beat him once. It was a shocking thing, but it was a blessing she thought. With him to be able to kill her.

Which he didn't....

He didn't want to, even when she got mad at him. He always smiled, showing her things she never experienced. To be finally be out of the realm of the shadows, to the realm of the humans.

Now...

*FWOOOSH*

*Clank*

The woman blocked all attacks, she was brimming with energy. The tired version of herself seconds ago left. Now fueled by the all those negative emotions, to kill all those that brought the misfortune of the one she couldn't save.

Invaders were strong, she was fighting beside gods. Something that wouldn't happen, she disliked gods and their ways of living. Their ways of imposing their divine rules on others, but now she fought by their side.

She craved blood, the invaders seeking to destroy Earth.

She threw runes at the alien being, who was wielding a giant great sword. It constrained it, making it roar in annoyance. She instantly appeared beside it, impaling it with her spear.

She attacked with great expertise. Every movement had a purpose, flowing naturally, also having the full intent to kill.

"Haaaa!"

She threw it to another giant being, it caught on it's shoulder. It quickly grabbed it and was about to throw it away. Only for the woman to re-appear on the spear, she grabbed the hilt of the spear, spinning it towards it's eyes.

It roared in pain, loosing both eyes, trying to swat the woman, she dodged them swiftly. As one hand got close to her, she used it to take a step on it and back flip her way to safety.

She then sliced it's head in half, as it slowly rolled from it's body. Some of these invaders were not like titans, their shape and form were alien. She didn't care, as long as they fall is what mattered.

She saw one of the God's being ganged up on. She quickly threw her spear towards one of them.

" Gáe Bolg!"

It redirected it's direction towards the heart of the alien. It sensed it trying to dodged it, only to be futile as the spear flew back again. Homing to the direction of the alien's heart.

*Thud*

It pierced it, making it fall with a giant crash. The God took this moment to slice one of the alien's into pieces. Having an appearance of a reindeer, a mix of sorts. Clawed another to death, as he turned towards the woman direction. He nodded in gratefulness.

She didn't pay attention to the God anymore. She looked at a being who killed the one she loved. Her face showed fury.

"You wretched beast, I'll cut you down!"

She vanished again, running quickly at the alien. It had it's eyes locked on the woman.

"We'll help!"

A Demi-god on her right and a God on her left were now aiding her. She nodded, one wielded a spear, similar in combat to the woman. As he then turned into a beast, it was a form he could do.

While the god beside her left, she was brimming with battle hungry thirst. She was someone who was connected to a certain goddess of death, war and fate.

The Alien was powerful as it casted some sort of spell.

*BOOOOM*

It caught them off guard, but the demi-god instantly attacked. Some God's who finished killing their enemies, joined in. As they knew of the woman, her figure known throughout history. Her strength admired as she was someone who was on par with them.

"Your death will happen by my hands!"

She seethed with rage, but still kept a steady mind. She would take revenge, she would avenge her loved one. As a single tear left her eyes.
